Better than expected
Having read the somehow mixed reviews, I was a bit worried about the hotel. But my actual experience was better than expected. All the staff I met at at front deck are friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable. And the breakfast is much better than other hotels in this price range. Wifi connectivity is a bit hit-and-miss, though. Be sure to ask for a renovated room.

Normal Motel
I could not find any available hotel during hot week so I choose to stay in this hotel , Breakfast is normal , room is clean but water quality is very bad . Internet speed is very slow .

The only thing that upset me is when i found a dirty towel on the kitchen floor so i called the front an he said sorry. The next day i had to pull outthe night stand because i dropped my phone sk when i pulled it out i found 2 pink pills an a ciuple of old dog bones. When I arrived at this property, I immediately started to realize it didn’t look much like the photos online. When my girlfriend and I got to our room, we confirmed that the photos were very deceiving. Our room was NOT in good condition and very unclean. Long story short, this hotel is not upgraded and is old/rundown. Don’t waste your money. Will not be staying here, in fact we left instantly. The staff was friendly though.

Potential blast to the past
It was a nice place for the week. I really enjoyed the fact it was an actual key instead of a card/badge. Reminded me of similar places from back in my youth.

Do not stay or book this motel.
The carpet in the room was disgusting. Dirty and sticky. The front desk counter person (Dmitri) was rude and tried to double charge me for my room. I arrived at 230pm and because I was 30 minutes early wanted to charge me 20.00 to check in early. Absolutely absurd.

Arrived early, before 3pm check in, was told we could wait in the restaurant/bar till 3, restaurant and bar closed for the day, which was a Sunday. Thought they should know that information and no mention of this on the website. The onsite restaurant and bar was one reason in booking here. Checked into the room which appeared to not have been updated since the fifties. Everything was quite used, beat up even and not very clean. But the bed, worst bed we have ever slept in. Extremely used and very very uncomfortable. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. Plenty of other options nearby. We will never go back to this location.

The Mariana Inn shows it age, it is in somewhat need of a renovation, HOWEVER, from the front desk to cleaning people bring a ton of charm and helps mitigate the accommodations.

Website doesn't reflect reality
We were told we had a nice room, no. 227. We got our key, got to our room, carried our stuff upstairs, and opened the door to another couple already in our room. They tried to move us to dark smelly room under the stairs. I asked them to change it because it reeked. They put us back upstairs in another room with full sized bed (we were supposed to have a queen) which was horribly uncomfortable and a kitchenette. The linoleum was stained around the toilet, light cord frayed with wires showing. Got in from a concert at 1 a.m. and housekeeping knocked to wake us up at 8 to see if we were still there. Don't waste your money. Seriously...Don't.

The shower head was broken. Upon turning on the water the water sprayed everywhere on the toilet and floor. Adjusting it from one side to the other only made it worse. To say the least, I skipped my shower to avoid a flood.

This place was disastrous and that's me being kind. We got the last two towels in the entire hotel. There was hair all over the bathroom. There was blood on one of the towels. There was a used syringe in the bathroom. The bathroom door didn't close. The mattresses were worn out and past ready for the garbage. The worst part was the toilet overflowed and we were given two bath mats and a plunger and told to deal with it. How is this place in business? I demand a refund!

Not worth the stay!
The hotel is old. The room had a nasty moldy smell when I entered, the carpet is dirty. The furniture are from the 1970’s. The TV is tiny and from the 70’s as well. No microwave, no hair dryer, the a/c is so loud and it’s either goes all the time or it’s off, no in between. The price is high compared to the condition. It’s a dump!!

Seriously needs updating and better cleanliness.
The hotel is obviously very old and its situated in an old retail oriented section of town on a very busy wide road. My particular room was extremely dated and not particularly well kept. The bathroom sink is old chipped porcelain with the rust stains. The bathroom floor was sticky, I threw a towel on the floor and never went barefoot. I was only staying the one night, then moving on to family, so I opted not to even shower there but rather move on early in the morning. The check in service was friendly, and I did call the front desk due my TV not turning on. The front desk lady did come by quickly and discovered it had come unplugged. Thank goodness that's all it was, as she said there was no one else on duty to help. I expected a basic, no-frills experience, but this place was just to old and unkempt - I'll cross this one off of future consideration.
