Glorious getaway

This appartment is really special . It is in a remote mountain village , which adds to the charm . For great value you have 5 star swimming pool, spectacular views from the front windows of the whole bay , and all with the charm of a quiet mountain village location . The caretaker is present and helpful and kind. Lots to do for mountain walkers and cyclists . Grocery stores are harder to find and there’s none in the village , but the hotel and restaurants next door were great for local food and atmosphere . Highly recommend for families.

Ein gelungender Familienurlaub. Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie (Kinder 16 u. 13 Jahre) 11 Tage im Chez Don Paul. Sehr schönes Appartement, ist alles schon in den vorherigen Reszensionen gesagt. Den Hausmeister Mohamed (der hier ja - neben dem Infinity-Pool einen großen Stellenwert in den Bewertungen einnimmt) können wir als sehr hilfsbereit beschreiben, aufdringlich war er nicht. Eine fehlende Bratpfanne brachte er sofort, die Kaffeemaschine wurde nach Rätselraten erklärt, allerdings klappte der Wäscheservice nicht und die Frage nach dem Verbleib des Hausmülls kam auch erst ein Tag vor Abreise. Eine mehrsprachige Info-Gästemappe wäre hier sehr hilfreich ! Herrlich - den Blick von der einen Seite des Appartements in die Küstenwelt schweifen zu lassen - und von der Küchenseite (mit der kleinen Überdachung) den Trubel der Touris und Einheimischen zu beobachten. Hunde, Mopeds, Senioren, Handwerker in klapprigen Lieferwagen, Ziegen ...herrlich und trotzdem ruhig. Mit der Familie haben wir viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht, da wir in der Hauptsaison (Juli-August) fahren mussten war die Parkplatzsuche allerdings in I'le rousse und Calvi, aber auch an den Stränden eine Herausforderung - und nervte extrem. Unser Lieblingsstrand war Plage de Ghjunchitu, neben dem Bodri-Strand. Gumpenwanderung (Fango-Schlucht) auch klasse. Appartementausstattung sehr gut, allerdings sind die Badarmaturen recht wackelig. Sauberkeit ist perfekt, die Betten, incl. Schlafcouch mittelmäßig.

Entspannte Zeit mit herrlicher Aussicht

Die Unterkunft entspricht den Erwartungen aus den Fotos. Wir hatten u.a. 3 Tage sehr schlechtes Wetter mit Starkregen und Sturm und waren sehr froh, zu der Zeit dieses Appartement zu bewohnen: da die Fenster auf der Terrasse geschlossen werden können, ist auch bei Unwetter ein angenehmer Abend mit Panorama-Ausblick möglich. Bei Problemen oder Fragen ist der freundliche Hausmeister gleich vor Ort und hilft gerne. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig. Der Pool ist herrlich und lädt schon morgens zum Schwimmen ein. Absolut zu empfehlen ist auch ein Abendessen im Restaurant vom Hotel Santa nebenan. Dort gibt es auch leckere Cocktails. Das Parken gleich gegenüber auf dem Kirchplatz empfanden wir auch sehr praktisch. Kostenlos und keine lästige Parkplatzsuche. Nachts ist der Ort sehr ruhig. Wir wären gerne noch etwas länger geblieben. Was anfangs uns gar nicht aufgefallen ist, man aber dennoch wissen sollte: links am oberen Ortsende ist erst Ende Juli 2023 bei einem verheerenden Waldbrand ein großer Teil des Berghangs abgebrannt. Das Feuer kam sehr nah an den Ort. Wenn man eine kurze Wanderung auf den nahen Sant'anghjulu unternimmt (unbedingt zu empfehlen), erkennt man das Ausmaß erst. Schlimm, daß es auf Korsika immer wieder solche Katastrophen gibt.

Superbe appartement offrant une vue imprenable sur l'Île-Rousse. Cependant, les nuits ont été perturbées par le bruit provenant de la route adjacente et de la musique corse jouée à l'auberge voisine tous les jours ( pas de sieste non plus). Malheureusement, la qualité de la literie n'était pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Malgré ces désagréments, l'accès à la piscine était extrêmement agréable, l accès aux randonnées top et a finalement contribué à rendre notre séjour très satisfaisant.

Klasse Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir sind ein Paar mit Baby und Hund und waren für 11 Nächte in der Wohnung Don Paul. Die hohen Erwartungen, geschürt durch die tollen Bilder, wurden mehr als erfüllt - es ist alles wie beschrieben: Die Ausstattung hochwertig, die Wohnung sehr geräumig, der Blick ein Traum, der Pool sehr gepflegt und alles abseits des Touristentrubels in den Städten am Meer. Und doch ist man in 10 Min. unten in Ile Rousse und 20 Min. am traumhaften Ostriconi Strand. Santa Reparata ist ein sehr idyllisch gelegenes und entspanntes Dorf. Frisches Baguette, Croissant oder Pain au Chocolat gibt's im Kiosk des Hotels (auch auf Bestellung) nebenan. Sehr gute Pizza fußläufig, sowie zwei Restaurants ebenfalls nebenan. Guter Anschluss an Wanderwege, daher auch tolle Optionen an Gassirunden in herrlicher Natur ohne großartig Höhenmeter machen zu müssen. Und obendrauf noch herzliche Vermieter aus Deutschland. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Schöner Urlaub

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht und schönem Schwimmbad. Der Hausmeister kann leider nur Französisch und am Abend (bis 22 Uhr) sind die Gäste vom Hotel etwas laut. Toll das es gleich um die Ecke morgens frisches Brot gibt.

Nette Wohnung in schöner , aber nicht ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der Pool ist sehr schön. Gestört haben uns die Gaststätten links und rechts. Außerdem fand an einem Abend eine Poolparty statt , sodass der Pool an diesem Tag nur eingeschränkt zu benutzen war, die extrem laute Musik bis Mitternacht war eine Zumutung. Außerdem mussten wir für die letzten beiden Nächte in die Wohnung nach oben ziehen, scheinbar eine Fehlplanung.

Magnifique appartement dans un lieu magique. Très bel appartement, idéalement situé, vue à couper le souffle. Piscine juste géniale.Le monsieur qui s'occupe de notre arrivée adorable, serviable, discret. Propriétaires très gentils et discrets. Très bon séjour

small town life was fantastic. Apartment was clean with amazing views of town below. Mohamed greeted us and was very friendly and helpful (fantastic man). restaurant next door has fantastic cuisine. Only issue we had was locating the apartment. No clear address, contact # at location. GPS got us to our location but was not perfectly precise therefore it would have been helpful to be able to contact someone who actually lives in the village. That being said, the rest of our stay was great. Pros: nice apartment, clean, quiet, views, free parking, caretaker Mohamed very helpful. cons: very important...contact info was not available as we arrived in the area, missing kitchen basics(oil, spices, foils, etc), internet issues (resolved with Mohamed's help).

Très bel appartement, bien situé et neuf.

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans cet appartement. Il est neuf, confortable, très bien équipé et bien placé pour visiter Ile-Rousse et ses alentours. Il est également décoré avec gout et offre une vue magnifique. Cependant, il n'y a pas de lave-linge dans l'appartement contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce. Il faut donner le linge au gardien de l'immeuble qui le lave chez lui. De plus, il est important de préciser que le gardien, qui habite juste à côté de l'appartement, est désagréable et trop présent. Le moindre de vos faits et gestes est controlé, notamment le nettoyage du barbecue. Nous avons également eu des remarques sur le bruit alors que nous dinions tranquillement à 4 adultes. Néanmoins, nous remercions la famille Kreuz pour leur accueil et leurs cadeaux de bienvenue.
