The tiny cottage was immaculate! Adorable and perfect for us. We loved walking everywhere. Amenities were beyond our expectations. Fitness Center Access and Bikes were amazing! We would come back in a heart beat!!!!! ♥️

A Good Experience

We really enjoyed the house! It was clean and in a great location. The house address shares with another house on the same property which confused us, but we figured it out pretty quickly. I would stay here again with my husband and two girls!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this cottage six years ago and again last week. A few pieces of furniture may have been changed since our last stay but to say it has been "newly refurbished" or "updated" in not accurate. The outdoor shower is in disrepair. The WiFi never worked while we visited so we were unable to change the thermostat the entire stay. The cottage is in a great location and with some TLC and true updates we would visit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house had no wi-fi and the TV did not work. When this was pointed out to Homeowner’s Collection, they kept sending other wi-fi codes for surrounding properties and never fixed the issue the entire stay. I was forced to try to work from a spotty hot spot on my phone. We were never offered a resolution or any attempt to make it right. Unacceptable given the rates charged and the lack of basic services.

Reviewer Comments: This is one of several trips to Seaside, a place we love.We wanted beach, and wanted to get away from our neighborhood fireworks craziness for the weekend.But, safe to say I will never visit Seaside during 4th of July weekend again. Nuts!The chaos of teens/tweens and the police everywhere trying to babysit was disturbing. We still love Seaside, but will avoid holidays. Lesson learned.Property management staff were outstanding!!!Sunrise provided a nice place to land for a few days.Only complaint I have is the first floor bed. The space is tight and the edges of the bedframe stick out and pose a trip hazard at minimum. I hit the corner once, but managed to stay upright. My husband hit it a couple times. This should be given attention.Pictures to follow as I am not able to attach to this comment space.

Nice, Basic Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sunrise cottage was a fine little destination for perhaps a is quite small. There were no sheets for the pull out couch, so our preteen daughter just slept on her own blanket on the sofa, not a big deal. Its proximity to the beach pavilion, about four homes away from access as well as the commercial center of Seaside, is its best feature and we enjoyed that. Seaside itself has undergone changes since we last stayed. Roaming teens throughout are generally well behaved, but tables were filthy, lines were long, food was overpriced and garbage was smelly. The town needs to hire more cleanup people when rentals are at peak. Traffic is a nightmare, but the beach itself was great. Sunrise owner needs to fix the french door stability upstairs as a storm came through and the doors flew open at 5am. But... accommodations were adequate. (PS Not a good place to stay if you have an issue with stairs). We are used to staying in the larger homes, so take this review with a grain... it's a fine little guest house.
