Beautiful, unique property. Great spot for a birthday celebration.

Our group of 7 friends really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was clean and beautifully maintained. The backyard was very impressive, our group spent a lot of time out there relaxing after days filled with winery tours and hiking through the Armstrong Redwoods park. Great location - we had no trouble venturing out to other areas to explore wine country.

Heaven on the hill

Have been doing an annual trip with my best girlfriends for the last decade. Staying here was truly memorable- beautiful area, comfy accommodations, and plenty of relaxing by the pool and hot tub. Drinking wine on the front porch overlooking Santa Rosa was our favorite! Thank you again for a fabulous stay.

Absolutely Breathtaking

Exactly as pictured....an oasis and chateau close to downtown Santa Rosa and wine country. Only a few minor negatives to this wonderful property - master bathroom has a very low quality show head with the water pressure blasting your skin in a painful way. Master bathroom also does not have a toilet paper dispenser and the toilet paper is simply just sitting on top of the window sill. The bed also in that room is rock hard and not very comfortable. Other than those things, everything else in the house is in impeccable condition and truly an oasis to be marveled at and enjoyed.

Nice home, good location.

We had a great stay at this home, it was in a perfect location as a jumping off point to several of our destinations. The home was very clean and comfortable and the backyard is wonderful! The owners were so nice and accommodating. *My only warning, as others have said, is the stairs. Now I'm in my 50's and have begun getting some aches, the stairs with luggage and a cooler were brutal. My husband is very fit and a trail runner, he was quite winded when and had to make 4 trips, because he couldn't carry it up at once. And once you make it to the front door, then you need to make your way up a tight spiral staircase to the main floor. Also, there aren't ANY bathrooms on the main floor, so more trips up and down the steep steps! This is a beautiful home in a marvelous location, just be aware that you'll be climbing steep stairs- a lot.

Perfect location for Sonoma and Napa tours. Santa Rosa is a great town! Property was perfection. Will be back! Need AWD to get up driveway though!

Lots of stairs but great views.

The property was beautiful and a great place to stay. However the neighbors don't like that there is a vacation rental in their neighborhood and stalk the property and complain to the owners about parking on their street, even though all cars are legally parked.

Incredible Architecture

The property was breathtaking! The giant windows really bring the outdoors in. The backyard is wonderfully designed to make you utilize every bit of space. The owner was communicative when we were having trouble with the outside lights and hot tub. He seemed very nice! Everything was perfect except the pool was pretty chilly (~65 degrees F) when unfortunately the listing says it's heated. Hopefully they'll let the pool heat up ahead of guests' arrival next time! All in all, a great house.

Lovely experience

Amazing architecture, charming light and views of trees, mountain and sky. The pictures are a true representation of this gorgeous property. The house is well maintained, very well equipped and has all the amenities you would need for relaxing and enjoying a calm stay in wine country. Everything is clean, organized, labeled and properly stored. We felt at home for the duration of the stay. Michael was very responsive to our questions and texts. Oasis on the hill

What a unique airy well appointed home for our vacation. Two couples found everything we could have wanted for our relaxing time in wine country. Much appreciation for all of the kitchen supplies, paper products etc which allowed us to cook dinners without buying up basics. Very lovely set up. I will reinforce the suggestion that older people might not find this set up with many stairs to be a good choice. Thank you!!!

Amazing Property with a GREAT Location!!

We traveled with a group of 6 ladies celebrating a 40th birthday. This house was perfect!! Plenty of space for all of us in the 3 bedrooms downstairs. Great location: close to a groceries store, lots of wineries and felt safe in the neighborhood. House had all the things we needed: games, cookware, towels and more! Owner was accessible when we had a question about the hottub and so friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Beautiful Oak Tree Surrounded Retreat

This house is beautiful! We really enjoyed being surrounded by all of the nature, the old oak trees have such character. The architectural design was so unique, there were views from every window! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any rental we have rented from. The welcome gifts were a lovely surprise. We thouroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the rooms were very comfortable. I highly recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful wine country retreat!

One of a kind beauty

Relaxing and beautiful home with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. Owners provided so many extras to make the rental experience feel more like being a guest at a friends' home. We ate out the first night but ended up cooking in the second night as we didn't want to leave the well stocked kitchen and indoor/ outdoor spaces. We would recommend to friends and will rent again next time we were in the area.

Beautiful Hillside Retreat

Amazing home and beautiful area.

My wife and I stayed here with two other couples. This house is absolutely amazing. Well located to visit wine country. The home has a very unique architecture but is ideal for the surroundings. We definitely will keep this one in mind on our next trip to this area.

Wonderful Experience, beyond our expectations!

This is by far the most wonderful vacation rental we have ever stayed at!! (and we travel quite a bit) Mike and Kyle are the greatest hosts, so responsive and full of details. Soft sheets, Fresh flowers, amazing kitchen with everything you need to make great meals, the hot tube and pool surrounded by nature, the deck with beautiful views to Santa Rosa... We wish we stayed there a bit longer! Our stay was incredible and we look forward to having the opportunity to visit again! Thank you Mike and Kyle, for sharing this beautiful place!
