A relaxing and pleasant getaway from the city
My husband, our pup and I booked a stay for a long holiday weekend and we really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at Jesse’s place! The house was very clean, well maintained, the property was huge and beautiful! Our pup loved the free-range property and being able to be off leash since it’s all fenced in! We enjoyed the amenities such as the ping pong table, front porch chairs, feeding the goats to their hearts content, and the views of the property and beyond. We also loved walking to the organic Finley’s farm where we enjoyed picking up a basket of organic strawberries. Glad we found this spot and thankful that Jesse and his wife (and dogs/cats/goats) were all so welcoming :)

Cycling oasis
This property was a perfect jumping off location for the best cycling routes in the Santa Ynez Valley. It was just what we were looking for: rural, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The peace and quiet made for a very relaxing vacation. Jessie was an ideal host, answering all questions immediately and providing excellent vacation advice.

Incredible location, pristine & dog friendly!
Our group of six adults and two dogs had the best stay at Jesse’s property. The house was fully stocked with everything we could’ve needed from utensils in the kitchen to extra linens. The property itself was beautiful and secluded. Very close to downtown Santa Ynez and Los Olivos! Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for the great hospitality, Jesse!

We will DEFINITELY be back.
This place is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Jesse (the owner) is friendly and helpful. He even let us help feed his 3 adorable goats. The place is ginormous, and it easily fit our family. It is well-appointed, and has everything you need (including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). There are more than enough towels, blankets, and pillows, and the kitchen has everything you would want to cook a full meal. It is the perfect location. It gives you the feeling of being on a ranch, but it only take five minutes to get to either Solvang or Los Olivos. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Relax in the country
Very charming guest house in a wonderful country setting. Well appointed kitchen, an inviting front porch and a rec room with a ping pong and foosball tables—great fun! We enjoyed visiting with their goats each morning. The host is very responsive and accomadating. We had a wonderful time.

Dog Friendly, Beautiful and Peaceful
This is a cute, comfortable home in a beautiful, peaceful area of Santa Ynez. Close to adorable Solvang and accessible to Santa Barbara, but away from the busyness. The owners are super hospitable, helpful and nice. We appreciated that they allowed more than one dog...so hard to find! Thank you and we hope to rent this property again!

Perfect Santa Ynez Getaway
The house was very clean and spacious and was in the middle of a very large estate with goats and tractors. Jesse was very kind to us and our 3 year old boy and let our son feed the animals and ride with him on his tractor. Jesse's dog Abbie and our dog also were able to play together. Overall, a really wonderful stay in a great location very close to Ballard.

Loved Jesse's property
Jesse greeted us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the home. It was nicer in person than in the photos and the surroundings are gorgeous. We were more than comfortable for the 3 days we were there and had everything we needed. And Jesse was available and close by if we needed anything (which we did not). We live in Los Angeles and it was peaceful (other than the roosters, but that was fun anyway) and our dogs loved being able to go out on the property without a leash. There are goats to visit and horses and rolling hills across the way. Absolutely lovely.

Our family wanted to do a weekend trip to see Solvang and were looking at a Solvang hotel or this property in Santa Ynez. We are so happy we picked this property. It is very close to Solvang and we discovered the little town of Santa Ynez (some very good food). This property was the perfect place to relax. Beautiful private grounds and the friendliest goats. As city folks, we enjoyed feeding them with the acorns on the grounds. The house itself was super clean and very spacious. As noted before, the second bedroom is small but worked fine for our son. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice dishes, glasses, appliances. Finally, you won't find a friendlier host than Jesse. Great communication and a gracious host. We hope to be back one day.

Amazing property & location, great hosts, 2nd bedroom is tiny
We had a couples getaway here with friends and everything about this property is perfect (location, privacy, outdoor space, hosts) except we found the 2nd bedroom to be quite small for adults. There was no place to unpack or put our clothes except for on top of the washer/dryer and the bed (a double, as per the listing, I just hadn't read it carefully enough) is pretty small. Despite the inconveniences of that bedroom, everything else about this property is fantastic and we would not hesitate to come here again, perhaps as a family where the kids could sleep in the smaller room. Our two pups had a wonderful time playing and running with the owner's dog, Abby, and the large oak tree just outside the cottage is stunning. Don't hesitate to book this beautiful and clean rental, just be aware that space is limited in the 2nd bedroom. :)

Perfect Combination
We are frequent guests of the Santa Ynez valley area. This was really the perfect combination of location and quaintness. The property is located between Los Olivos wine tasting and dining in Santa Ynez. The home is tucked away on the bottom half of a multi-acre site flanked by a large oak tree. Plenty if privacy with just the right amenities. We dinned out and we cooked back at the house. Very enjoyable getaway.

We had a wonderful weekend with friends at this perfectly situated home just minutes from Solvang, Los Olivos, wineries, great resturants and more. The home is immaculate and sits on a very safe and picturesque 6 acre property that is secluded yet easy to access off of highway 154 or highway 246. The owners are wonderful hosts, very accommodating, thoughtful and kind. Look forward to a return trip. SIMPLY PERFECT!!

This is a wonderful, secluded property, complete with friendly goats, Abby the dog and a large screech owl. Jesse was very accommodating of our unexpected change of plans, and the house was very comfortable and nicely appointed with a full kitchen and laundry. Jesse's house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a great getaway. The location is convenient to access activities in the area, wine tasting, Los Olivos and Solvang, are next door. The game room was fun for night time activities. Highly recommended for families, one couple who want to spread out or two couples. Jesse was very helpful with recommendations in the local area - thanks for the taco Tuesday recommendation -- it was great!

Total Relaxation with all the Comforts if Home
Thank you Jesse and Michelle. Your hone was so comfortable. We loved sitting outside in the morning having our coffee. Our time ended too soon! This property is amazing. We stayed here for my dad’s birthday over the weekend and had such a relaxing time. The house is so clean and spacious and the land is incredible. It makes me want a huge property! I brought my 2 huskies and they had so much fun roaming free on the property. We loved playing in the garage and outside with the games available to us (corn hole, foosball, ping pong). The mornings and evenings were so peaceful sitting outside and looking out at the land and interacting with the sweet goats on the property. Jesse was the perfect host and stayed in communication throughout out trip. You are within 10 minutes of countless wineries and downtown! We absolutely recommend and hope to come back soon!

Perfect way to start the summer
Our family of four had a wonderful stay. The home is comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The games room got lots of use! It is perfectly located close to Solvang center and to Ballard and Buellton. Our dog loved having space to run free. Great Getaway Spot to Visit Family

Perfect family base camp
Jesse’s house was a great fit for our family’s weekend in the valley. Ideally located, just a short drive from both Solvang and Santa Ynez town centers and a handful of beautiful wineries. The property itself is peaceful and the kids loved feeding the goats and playing outside. The game room was also a big hit. As for the house it’s clean, well air-conditioned and the views of the property make it feel really peaceful. And Jesse is a very thoughtful host who was always available to answer questions and help out. Can’t wait to return.
