“Location of this hotel was centered in Appenzell. Our room was small yet we didn’t feel cramped the lift was useful and not too far from our room. The room was tidy and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the staff and their hospitality ”

“The most uncomfortable accommodations but inexpensive Appenzell you can’t be picky if you’re on a budget. The room, including the en suite bathroom is no bigger than a standard American bathroom, airless, windowless, and claustrophobic. We did not sleep, no air quality controls. However, the establishment is charming, the breakfast was ample and the staff is ultra kind and the hotel\restaurant is a five minute walk from the train station and superbly located- loved Appenzell and the surrounding……

“Would love to try the main building as Hotel Weissbad next time. This time we stay with Weissbad Lodge in an attic room. The lobby is new and self served. The interior of the attic room though spacious however looks old and dirty with the choice of the floor wood and the lighting. Won’t choose the Lodge next time. But the receptionist in Hotel Wiessbad ( check in here though I stay at the lodge) was very helpful and friendly. Clear instructions and good advice on the tourist spots. ”

“The staff at the front desk were terribly Friendly- MS REBECCA, KUSEY (hope I got it right) and the very lovely GM of the hotel. She offered my husband the local beer which was a very kind gesture. We were surprised at the respectfulness, friendliness and everything that you can ask from a front desk staff. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious. My husband enjoyed the bacon.”

“Alles soweit in Ordnung, der Check-in hat erstaunlich gut funktioniert. Frühstück war vielleicht ein bisschen dürftig aber dem Standard entsprechend. Was mir noch aufgefallen war, ich könnte die Raumtemperatur nicht ändern oder vlt. habe nur ich die Bedienung dafür nicht entdeckt. War aber nicht zu kalt.”

“In an office building. Kind of strange. No human interaction, no staff. Very sterile. Nothing negative, just unusual. Nice area”

“Direct in het centrum en op loopafstand van bus en trein en stad is gelegen aan snelweg. Diverse eetgelegenheden, barretjes, kledingwinkels en supermarkten. De kamer heeft alle faciliteiten die je verwacht. Weinig tot geen lawaai van de omgeving. Prima locatie en behulpzaam personeel.”
