Great stay!

The house was amazing. Very short walk to the beach and bay. It has everything you need. Pool was clean and refreshing. I would definitely recommend.

Great Location

Great location! The house is walking distance to the beach and not busy at all compared to other beach locations on AMI. There was construction that would start at 7:00am everyday and would wake us up. So loud you could not use the pool until late evening. This area on the island has lots of construction around it so I don’t see this going away anytime soon. Other than the early wake up calls no complaints.

Perfect Retreat

This property is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood only steps from the beach access. The owners have added so many touches to this rental that was truly remarkable. There are books, games, towels, beach chairs and cart, toys, floats for both the beach and the pool. We are a family of 5 and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool and grill area are a perfect oasis after a long day at the beach. Kitchen has so much more than a normal rental.

Love this Gem!!!

The Lime Cottage is perfect for 2-4 guests. The property is older but very clean and convenient for Beach access and eating out. The private pool is awesome; complete with an awesome outdoor shower! Love this place! If I had to give one critique, I’d say the closed in carport area definitely needs better air conditioning. Since it’s not insulated, the current window unit just can’t keep up with the heat of the day. Other than that, A+ from us!!!

Beautiful getaway

Perfect little getaway. Cottage was clean and absolutely adorable. The pool area was like a tropical paradise. The landscaping was perfect and added privacy from nearby neighbors. 2 minute walk to the beach was perfect. ‘Big Jenga’ was a huge hit and we played for hours. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Island Paradise!

The Lime Cottage was perfect for our family vacation. Close to beach, bay and walking distance to so many things to do. And kicking back by the pool was a daily favorite. Would love to stay here again!

Nebraskans Hit the Water

As advertised, a cozy, homey, perfect vacation rental for this family of five, two adults and 3 teens. Perks: 1) Location. Two blocks to bay, two blocks to public access beach, which, after touring whole island was the least crowded spot. Also quick trolley trip south to Bridge Street to the south and Manatee Beach to the north. Longer drive/trolley north to Anna Maria. 2) Pool. This heated pool with built in seating was the first thing we did when we woke up and last thing we did before we went to sleep. So glad to have had a pool as well. 3) Warm welcome notes from management company and homeowner. Felt personal and human. We visited friends in new construction elsewhere on the island. While it was big, roomy and magazine-like it felt impersonal and like space was wasted on the inside when where you want to be is outdoors. Loved feeling like we were in a real neighborhood in an older home that had been so well-loved.

Owner communication

Laura, the owner, was awesome with communication. Being available and responsive for questions, etc. Her cleaning person missed things - primarily some things on the Lanai room. The pool is fabulous. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend

The house is absolutely adorable! Close enough to many places we went to walk and for those a little further nothing was more than a 20 minute drive. As we came the island in mid February the ocean water was a bit cool but the pool made up for that. We had a couple of small glitches with the house but all was made right within 30 minutes or so. Will definitely check availability of the Lime House again when we come back to AMI. It was the perfect base for the perfect vacation.

Christmas Season

The weather was on the cool side, but everything was fine in the cottage. We went to the aquarium, and my 20-year-old went to the gym in Holmes Beach. It was a great stay!

Lime Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the lime cottage. Small and quaint, walking distance to beach, very clean pool. Odd that master bedroom had no bathroom attached while the second bedroom had one attached. An older building but very clean Land comfortable. Could use a couple more chairs by pool. Would definitely stay again!

Such a cute and lovely place

I loved my stay at the Lime Cottage. The pool was wonderful, temperature was perfect. The master bed was as nice as mine at home, slept like a baby! Its so nicely decorated and has a very comfortable. I highly recommend!

It was fun to walk to the beach from the lime cottage. We also enjoyed playing marcopolo in the pool.

Horrible.

This was a horrible, horrible vacation rental. As soon as we arrived we realized the home next door (mind you, these are entirely small lots) was under demolition. It was a complete construction site. Granted, we know this is to no fault of the owners of the cottage, but a heads up that this was going on would have been greatly appreciated. After all, we decide to vacation as a treat to ourselves and having a safe, quiet location was something we thought we were *paying* for. This house was just not clean. It was actually really horrible. The real kicker--our children found what appeared to be blood stains underneath the pillows!!!!!!!!!!! There were stains all over the worn out sheets, stains on the couches, rust stains on kitchen utensils, dust and debris on dishes. As soon as you walk in, the cleanliness of the home just feels off and somehow you feel like you have walked into something you did not at all expect or sign up for. It literally almost brought me to tears. Long, long story short-this was BAD. Horrible. Not good. Stay away if you like to vacation with any kind of decency, cleanliness for your family and for your children. It was so bad, we had to book an emergency alternate location to stay while our time here. Not at all what we expected.

Awesome trip

We loved staying in the lime green cottage! It was literally mins to the beach which was our favorite part.the house has a lot of offerings with the beach wagon, umbrellas and chairs. We left a bucket and shovel for the next guess for sand castles! Everything is labeled in the house so it was easy to find what we needed and they thought of everything! We didn’t find restaurants, shops and grocery close enough to walk so we got a golf cart once we were there. The free trolley was close but we never took it. Being an hour from the airport and getting a golf cart i might rent a car next time. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Amazing vacation!!!

The Lime Green Cottage was the perfect place for family vacation. Short walk to the beautiful white sandy beach, lots of great restaurants near by, and… the pool in the back yard was the best area the hang and relax. I would highly recommend The Lime Green Cottage.

Great place

This house was great. Spacious, clean, colorful, awesome location - quick walk to beach, trolley and restaurants. Grocery store right up the street. Kitchen looked very well stocked, although we ate out almost every meal. Beach chairs, cart, etc. were all provided. Plenty of beach towels. Easy communication and lots of info in the house. We didn’t really get to use the pool. Heater was broken and by the time it was fixed and warmed up, the weather had gotten cold, rainy and windy. The master mattress is quite firm - just noting as some people prefer that, others don’t. The other mattresses were soft and couches were extremely soft and comfy. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

Perfect spot for break

This place was so wonderful. Had beach gear for the very short walk to the beach. Pool was private- truly a quiet oasis. This neighborhood is perfect for families. Easy to walk to mid island spots. Trolley to the north end. Would love to stay here again
