On a séjourné entre amis et famille dans ce spacieux appartement avec extérieur . On est allé flaner au centre historique situé à proximité , on a mangé au restaurant Le bistrot. On a trouvé du bon fromage de qualité et beaucoup de choix chez Pierrot. Par contre visite de la grotte de lascaux décevante

Perfect

Very impressed with the apartment, we loved every minute there and wished we’d booked longer. The balcony was lovely to sit out on even with the road being directly below, we had all five of us sat there chatting on a few occasions. Inside the property the layout suited everyone with several places to sit and the pool was an added bonus. Location is perfect, minutes away from Lidl for supplies and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. There are many narrow passages with restaurants and shops to go to, much prettier than we imagined and highly recommended. Our host was great and supplied all the essentials such as toilet paper kitchen roll and cleaning products, all the things that make the stay easier. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

A lovely stay!

This was a really great place to stay. We were there for 2 weeks and felt very at home! The flat is lovely and very big, and the garden is a fantastic place to have dinner or a nice sit. The balcony was also wonderful to sit and watch the world go by.

This is a beautiful apartment, lovingly filled with typically French period furniture, and ample living and sleeping space. The host was away on business, so his mother Pascale welcomed us, and was informative, helpful, and kind. The weather did not permit use of the outdoor spaces, but the deck, garden and private pool were enticing and would be a wonderful asset on a warm day. The kitchen is compact, but functional, and all the amenities listed were present and in working order. Easy drive to the Lascaux caves, and walking distance to the magnificent medieval area of Sarlat; wish we could have stayed longer. Note: while the listing indicates two bathrooms, there is only one WC in a separate room, and one room with a shower and sink. Merci Valentin et Pascale.

Comme à la maison

En week-end avec ma famille, nous étions sept adultes. L'appartement est spacieux, le jardin ombragé au bord de la piscine très agréable. Tout est accessible à pied. Belle decouverte

Bel accueil de nos hôtes...tres disponibles meme avant la remise des clés. La maison est fonctionnelle grande et confortable. Elle est également idéalement située, le centre ville est accessible à pied les commerces et sites touristiques sont a proximité. Les animaux sont acceptés. Nous tenons a remercier tres chaleureusement la propriétaire et son fils pour le soin apporté a l'accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous reviendrons chez eux et dans la region avec grand plaisir.

Lekker dichtbij het centrum

De woning ligt lekker dichtbij het centrum. De netheid (schoonmaak) kon beter, zaten vele spinnenwebben op zichtplekken. Bedden waren schoon en sliepen heerlijk. Ruime kamers, ruim apartement en goede badkamer. Van veel gemakken voorzien en aanwezig. Einge nadeel vonden wij dat het zwembad niet op leefniveau was. Het apartement bevindt zich boven een (fiets)winkel. Daarnaast waren er geen parasols of andere zonwering aanwezig in de tuin.

Fantastic place to stay in Sarlat

Lovely spacious, well-equipped apartment, very close to Sarlat centre, and our own pool too. Everything we needed for our holiday in the Dordogne.

Points positifs : Elle est grande et joliment décorée, l’accès au centre de Sarlat est proche et se fait à pied. Points négatifs: La maison n’est pas très propre, le jardin mal entretenu Le descriptif manque de précisions, comme accès au jardin par un escalier, un bureau d’une société a une vue sur le jardin.

Bon séjour

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, nous avons été très bien accueilli et les propriétaires ont vraiment été très arrangeants et réactifs. L'emplacement était super. Dans l'ensemble le logement est très spacieux et agréable, cependant il s'agit plus d'un très grand appartement avec un extérieur que d'une maison ( l'extérieur n'est pas au même niveau) Malgré cela nous recommandons !

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans la demeure de Valentin. La maison est spacieuse, joliment décorée, bien équipée. Le réel plus de cette maison est sans aucun doute sa localisation, à seulement 10 minutes du centre historique de Sarlat-la-Canéda ! La piscine et le jardin sont également très agréable.

Logement spacieux et bien situé à 5 mn à pieds du centre. Très bon accueil. Juste une aération défectueuse et donc des odeurs dans la salle de bain et wc.

Spacious apartment in fantastic location

The apartment is perfectly located just 5 mins walk from the historic old town, which is alive with bars, restaurants, shops and street entertainers. The town is beautiful and only a short drive away from lots of attractions such as pretty villages, chateaux, medieval and prehistoric sites, riverside beaches, beautiful countryside etc. The apartment is very big. It is on the second floor, and has a small garden at the back with a pool. The air conditioning in the apartment was very welcome as it was very hot the weeks we were there. It is reasonably well equipped and has free Wifi. The owner was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. My only complaint is that everything in the apartment was a bit shabby - I think it is fair to say that most of the furniture has seen better days and could do with replacing. However, for two weeks it was fine. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at the front of the apartment overlooking the street. There are plenty of food shops and bakeries within a couple of minutes walk, including a Lidl about 100 meters away. Although the town is very busy, it was quiet at night where we were. We will definitely be returning to Sarlat and totally recommend a visit.The is so much to do.

Grande maison très agréable à vivre lorsqu'on est nombreux, certes le parquet craque un peu, mais cela ajoute au charme de l'ancien. Situation idéale à 10 mn à pied du centre historique. Nous conservons cette adresse pour un futur séjour. Merci pour l'accueil !

Sarlat - A Home Away From Home

We recently (September 2015) stayed in this house in Sarlat for 2+weeks. Originally we had booked for 4 nights but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay! Besides having 3 bedrooms and yard with pool, there's also a bright cheery sunroom and another music/TV room with a wonderful piano which we made good use of. Many skylights and windows. The kitchen is very usable, and there is also a very large breakfast and a dining room. Home is located right near a small market with fresh bakery and the old "medieval" part of Sarlat is a 10 minute walk with many superb restaurants and other activities and nightlife (concerts, etc.) Location is on a main street, but is very quiet at night. There is a lot of parking a few steps from the front door. Sarlat is central in the Dordogne/Perigord region within 15 minutes from most sights, castles, rivers, etc. The owners, Valentin and his mom Pascale are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this home to others and intend to stay there again.
