Villa La Frasca with private pool for 4 people and beautiful sea views

  • Villa La Frasca is located between the picturesque villages of Cómpeta and Sayalonga, approximately 200 m above the road between the two villages. Surrounded by green areas, it is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and the coast.

    Villa La Frasca can accommodate 4 people and is a modern and comfortable house. Here we find the bright living room with 2 sofás, satellite TV, fireplace and dining area, the fully equipped kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, a bathroom with bathtub and shower and the other bathroom with shower.

    The living room and both bedrooms have air conditioning (hot&cold).

    In the area outside the private pool surrounded by a large terrace with charcoal barbecue. From here we have an impressive view of the town of Corumbela and the mountains and the sea.

    Villa La Frasca is located 5 km away from the town of Cómpeta and 3 km from the town of Sayalonga. The whole road is paved.

    Competa offers us: several small supermarkets, bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, medical center, dentist, internet cafe, souvenir shops, tourism information and much more.

    Pets:
    Pets are welcome (max. 2). Please note that if you bring your pet, there is a supplement of €50 (once per stay) payable in cash upon arrival at our office in Cómpeta.

    Arrival after 9:30 PM:
    Please note that if you arrive at or after 9:30 PM, there is a supplement of €50 payable in cash upon arrival.

    Heating:
    If you wish to use the central heating (radiators), there is a supplement of €30 per night. Please let us know 2 days in advance if you wish to use the heating.

    Swimming Pool:
    The swimming pool is closed during the winter months. Please inquire for details on opening times.

Alles prima und bei den Problemen mit dem TV wurde uns zügig geholfen. Noch schöner wäre es gewesen, wenn der Pool beheizbar gewesen wäre.

Excellent séjour, mais...

La maison était très propre, la piscine parfaite, les trois climatisations étaient efficaces. L'accès est aisé en voiture, ce qui est loin d'être toujours le cas dans cette région (nous y avons fait plusieurs séjours). En revanche, le lit dans la chambre principale est trop petit (140 cm) et trop dur (ressorts de mauvaise qualité). C'est dommage, il y a largement la place de mettre un lit de 160 cm. Dans la cuisine il n'y avait aucun consommable (pas de sacs poubelles, pas de sel, de poivre, d'huile, de vinaigre, de papier alu, etc, rien à part quelques rouleaux de papier toilette). L'environnement est agréable, belle vue sur les montagnes. La route toute proche n'est pas trop gênante. En revanche, à 50 m environ, il y a une sorte de grande cage où un habitant enferme 5 ou 6 chiens qu'on entend aboyer très souvent, même la nuit (avec les fenêtres fermées ça va). La terrasse est plein ouest, donc le soir elle est très chaude. Mais bon séjour globalement.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.

The Good. The property presented beautifully and was spotlessly clean. The pool area was very nice and the views were spectacular, it also had lovely sun beds and ample dining options. The Bad. The driveway to the property was horrendous. It was almost vertical and was positioned on a blind bend, which made entering and leaving very dangerous. It is most certainly not for a nervous or novice driver. The double bed ! The mattress was like a broken up bag of granite. After the first night our shoulders, ribs and hips felt like we had been beaten up. Needless to say we complained about it. The BBQ. This is a charcoal BBQ and it is not fit for purpose. The Ugly. Meanness is a trait I find very ugly and I have to say I was very, very disappointed to find that there was no “welcome hamper” in the villa when we arrived. We had been travelling since 4.30 am until we arrived at the villa at about 5.30pm and there was not even a bottle of water to greet us !! The villa is very rural and a tricky drive to either CÓMPETA or Sayalonga. So after unloading our car we then had to drive to Competa to get groceries. Surely a little package containing water,bread and coffee would not be too much to ask. It probably would have cost about €10 !!. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay in the Sayalonga area and we did not let our disappointment with the villa and its operators spoil our st There is so much more I could say but life is too short, so NO I would not recommend a stay in Villa La Frasca.

Das Ferienhaus ist noch relativ neuwertig und alles in gutem Zustand. Die Zufahrt mit dem Auto erfordert einigermaßen geübte Fahrer, da sehr steil, etwa 28% Steigerung und sehr schmal ist. Mit Hunden kein Problem wenn die nicht Wandern gehen da kein Zaun vorhanden ist. Den Pool habe ich nicht genutzt da es die falsche Jahreszeit dafür hatte. Aber es steht 1,6 m Tiefe, zum schwimmen perfekt, für Kleinkinder eher nicht. 3 Klimaanlagen sorgen für behagliche Temperaturen egal ob warm oder kalt. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind eher in Competa zu finden, etwa 5 km auf Kurvenreicher Bergstrasse.

Es war total schön, tolle Aussicht, Ruhe und einfach Erholung.

Das Objekt ist schön und geräumig. Mann hat alles was mann braucht. Außerdem kann man schön wandern, Städte besuchen und am Abend die tolle Aussicht genießen. Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen durch Martina und danken für ihre gastfreundliche Unterstützung. Danuta.

Lugar mágico y encantador

La casa está cuidadosamente orientada de tal forma que se pueden aprovechar todas las horas de luz por el día en la piscina y por la noche la luna y las estrellas de una forma espectacular, en perfecta armonía con la naturaleza, sin lugar a dudas uno de los lugares más bonitos que hemos visitado. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa atraídos por la fuerte magia del lugar, hemos disfrutado de una forma increíble y nos sentimos afortunados de haber elegido esta casa.
