Hotel service was excellent from dropping the bags off to checking out. They were so accommodating for dogs nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and the free tea and coffee was great

Lovely Seaside stay.

Excellent stay. Love the decor and the feel of the place. Perfectly suited to those who love the great Yorkshire outdoors. Exceptionally friendly and knowledgable staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location

Bedroom was spacious, bedside tables with usb plug sockets either side. Flat screen tv in both bedroom and small lounge. Bathroom large shower with double head, good pressure. Specious and very clean. Small lounge with sofa and tea coffee facilities with flat screen tv. Excellent wifi connecti. However, tv was too high on the wall to watch for long

On arrival we were met at the entrance at this point all was good, the gentleman was very helpful. Everything was looking good until we stepped into the lift which was very small and very drab it only just took 2 adults and two hand luggage and everything went down hill from there. The decor was horrendous. Orange and green walls i was beginning to think it was a hostel. The room had a gap at the bottom ofcabout 4 inches, my husband kept hitting his head on the light fitting as it was hanging on a rooe

Good Hotel and location.

Great hotel with good amenities and a good bar restaurant.. Staff always friendly and helpful. Only thing that let's it down is the breakfast. Poor selection and awful coffee.

Nice hotel with friendly staff.

Good rooms, clean & tidy & decent amenities. The evening food is good as is the range of drinks. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The only negative is the breakfast, which doesn't offer a decent range or VFM.

Lovely place to stay. Staff are so friendly and the hotel prides itself on welcoming dogs as well as their hoomans! Restaurant food was fab and the free hot drinks is a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

Dog hotel

This hotel was one of the best I have stayed at in Scarborough, overall. My only negative was that it was not clearer on booking the dog friendliness. As I have a phobia of dogs, the sheer number of dogs left me a little frazzled. Great stay otherwise , but I will not be returning.

Room was was fine and very acceptable. The en-suite facilities were tiny and more suited to a contortionist than an 83 year old. However, this is the Bike and Boot and quirky is more than acceptable. On the other hand the food was terrible. My Caprese Salad lettuce leaves instead of basil, 3 tiny slices of tomatoe and a huggin of mozarella........nothing like a caprese salad. The paella was microwaved to hell and heat was its only attribute because I doubt if any of the ingredients had seen the sea recently. This was a respite trip for me and because of the great times and foodwe have had previously I was really looking forward to it................The very excellent Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc did it's best to make things better but the trip as a whole was very disappointing
