Good place, except “tower”room

The host is very nice. Dinner is plentiful and delicious. The pool and the garden are great. The kids really enjoyed it. The four-person "tower"room was ours. Its entrance was behind the main building. The environment is unkempt and littered. The wall between the 2 tower rooms is so thin that you can clearly hear the conversations in the next room. This is very confusing. The room is dark, the ceiling height is low. There is no wifi in the room.

Loved this property. So welcoming. Home cooked food was quick and tasty. Amazing fish pasta followed by sea bass. Can't complain about that! Didn't have time to enjoy it but the pool looked amazing. Breakfast relied on a bit more processed and pre packaged pastries than I'd like. There was a good choice though and plenty to fuel us for the day. A great stopover. Remote and peaceful.

Poor Cleanliness

Should have taken more notice of the reviews. Rooms with awful smell and mould on walls. Toilet flush broken in two of the rooms. Noisy air con and room fridge. No mosquito nets at all so can't keep windows open. Very poor overall cleanliness (with exception of the pool bathrooms). Nice gardens and pool area but pool not particularly clean and dog poo on the grass. Hosts pleasant but fail to see the shortfalls of the property. Has so much potential if more attention was given to overall cleanliness.

An oasis set within old olive groves

This is a small family run hotel. In the middle of the Sicilian country side but a short drive into town if you’d like. It is beautifully decorated and the pool is stunning. Loungers dotted around to relax into with shade under umbrellas or the olive trees. From the upper floors there are veiws across the sea to the sunset. The gardens are green and lush and there is a sense of tranquility. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and there were children running around laughing. The dinner is home cooked, locally sourced and served with local wine at 8pm - lovely. The rooms are simple and charming with air conditioning to combat the heat outside. The reception is their office but this only adds to the charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
