“Make sure you video when checking out, host is charging extra for cleaning. We cleaned the unit. I messaged the host about the washer as it couldn’t do a complete wash. Host is charging us for broken washer when we couldn’t even use it as it couldn’t do complete wash. Additional charge for broken steam cleaner that we DID NOT use. Host said we left the unit in complete clutter, I piled the used towels in the washroom as we could not use the washer. We paid a lot of money for 10 day stay, we were……

“Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!”

Figgi & Dr. Eappen sent very clear instructions to check in with along with wifi……

“Poor management and maintenance. Place feels like sleeping in a house that has sold the night before the movers come for the last of the furniture. Communication with host non existant. Dirty, sticky floors throughout. Used chewing gum stuck to pool deck. Many things broken and missing. Really disappointing.”

“This was an amazing property. Well maintained. Clean and great facilities. Lisa was amazing and other staff were very friendly. We did the trail to the brook and it was nicely marked. Getting up the hill was a challenge with heavy bags so consider taking staff up on offered assistance. Will for sure recommend this to others if they are traveling in the area.”

My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! ”
