“It is quite a small room with one single bed and a bunk bed. The lower bunk bed is too narrow and the height between the two decks is too short. I cannot sit up on it. I have to crawl into the bed and slip out of it every time. So you can imagine the feeling when you sleep on the lower bunk bed and the upper bed is so close to your face. It is really the hostel facilities but the rate is close to a hotel or even more expensive than many of them. ”

“Michael and Joyce could not have been more accommodating! As soon as we arrived Joyce made us a cup of tea and made us feel like family in the first 5 minutes. The bedroom was extremely spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to make tea and coffee in the room and enjoy it with the tasty Walker shortbread cookies that were supplied as well. The wifi and satellite tv worked very well. The breakfast the next morning was awesome! There was everything from cereal, fresh fruit,……

“Loved staying at this great guest house. Very convenient for Edinburgh city centre as bus stop for the city centre is right outside the door. Craig is a great host with lots of helpful information. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Cosy and clean, this apartment was well located in the West End close to restaurants, easy transport and the Botanic Gardens. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of staples left which made self-catering simple. Bathroom small but nicely renovated. Car parking off street was available which was good as it was limited, metered parking in the street. Very tight lane to space but we did manage to get our estate in there. Would stay again.”
