“The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!”

“Lovely and friendly, directly on the beach a perfect get away”

“Lovely park, clean caravan, great position. We would stay again :)”

“Characterful pub with rooms in the heart of North Walsham. Friendly staff. Tea, coffee, biccies and bottled water in the room on arrival; as well as a breakfast bag for the morning.”

“Very nice room (just need more attention to cleaning the floors) and good burger meal in the pub - thank you!”

“Steve the bar manager was attentive and very helpful”

“We stayed for two nights prior to renting a boat for a week on the broads. Central location, close to everything which was a huge plus since we did not have a car. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots to do in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Food was very good, especially breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. The only problem was that it was very hot, being above the Kitchen. There were 2 electric fans and an air-conditioning unit which was unfortunately very noisy. This was a shame as everything else was very good.”

“Amazing breakfast and meals.”
