House is great, Vacasa not so great

There were so many ants (dead ants and live ants) all over the house. We contacted Vacasa almost daily while we were there and were repeatedly told that our concerns were "sent to the local team" and nothing happened. It felt like we were talking to a bot. The house itself is lovely. Right next to a trail that joins with the coastal trail. Beautiful views and beautiful views of the sunset. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste, but very serviceable. It's too bad about Vacasa.

Wonderful window views

Lovely views and very clean house. Great access to bluff trail. Generously equipped kitchen and relaxing hot tub. Overall very relaxing break! One suggestion would be to add a separate heater to the master bedroom as it is quite a bit colder than the living room & other bedroom due to the number of large windows which is great for views but quite cold during nights.

Ocean views and only the waves were all we heard

To wake up to the ocean waves across the meadow while still in bed was pretty awesome. The spacious house is in a great location with awesome bathroom and kitchen updates and amenities. We did not want to leave...

Magical!

We loved our stay at this property. The set up with great, the furniture and entertainment was top-notch, the beds were comfortable, and everything was so clean and fresh! It was really nice to have the maps and binder of info about the surroundings, too. I've not seen a dark sky full of stars in a loooong time (we came in from deep in urban life!) - it was such a perfect reset. Thanks!

A perfect place to ring in 2020!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with 4 adults and a dog while saying goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020. It was truly a magical way to ring in the new year. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated since the pics shown (which surprised and delighted us!) and the kitchen was equipped extremely well. The views were to die for, esp from the master bedroom and the main living area. We enjoyed our time chilling in the hot tub, walking the bluff trail and making epic dinners. Very comfortable home. We'd love to return one day, but super bummed that dogs are not allowed anymore. Not to mention the 6-day limit on rentals during holidays... ugh. Maybe one day the owners/Vacasa will loosen up those rules? We sure hope so. This place will not disappoint!

Great location, recently remodeled

We have loved this property for many years. It has now been enhanced with extensive remodeling (kitchen, bathrooms, interior and exterior paint). We are only saddened that dogs may no longer be allowed.

Close to coast line. Quiet and peaceful

Great location, close to the town of Gualala and Ocean shore. The house is sort of a L-shaped building with a private deck and enclosed yard in the middle. Great for bringing your pet and for privacy.

Awesome home

This lovely home is well appointed, beautifully kept, and has a wonderful view, comfy beds and (OMG) a Viking range. The backyard area is perfect for a dog. Window is my favorite house at TSR!

Perfect Home

This is a perfect Sea Ranch rental in my opinion. Close to bluff trails, but also close to town. Lovely floorpan with unusual elements - and great amenities (like a large dining-game table, fully stocked kitchen, and charming bay-window reading nooks). Also, the customer service we got when we needed anything was the best EVER. Joanne Norwood (our Vacasa agent) was superb!

Great Location, Design, But Some Maintenance Needed

We have been going to the Windrow property for close to the past 20 years, so clearly we like it, having stayed there 20-30 times. It is in a beautiful site, it has a wonderful design with lots of great views. And dogs are welcome! Over that time, of course, there is some aging of the property that needs to be addressed. Some of this has been handled recently (new trash cans, some kitchen painting, base of fence fixed). But there is much that still needs to be addressed: worn rugs and carpets, falling shingles on exterior, broken window in guest bedroom, broken screens, peeling wallpaper in bathrooms, cracked tile floors, to name only some of the issues. Such maintenance, one would think, the obligation of the owner who realizes considerable income from rentals, no? Fingers crossed for the near future on this property....

GREAT Home!

Loved the home. It is close to bluff trails and town - but feels SO remote! Great amenities too (like a huge dining/game table, a floor plan that enhances privacy, a fully stocked kitchen and charming reading-window nooks). The customer service from our Vacasa agent (Joanne Norwood) was the best service we have EVER had and we rent vacation homes quite often. My husband and I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this vacation house. It is dated but has great bones with lovely views from all rooms. The outside is nice with the hot tub, and trails right out side the front door. Kitchen is great with the gas Viking stove and has a good selection of cooking tools. The gas fireplace is nice and east to use when it gets chilly. Overall a lovely house, the only thing it needs is a gas barbeque and more bath towels. We just did a few loads of laundry, so no big deal. We would book this house again and plan to in the future. Warmly, Laurie

Great getaway

We loved our stay at the home. Very cozy, awesome view, easy to find. It was just two of us but the home had plenty of room for more couples. There is a market in town, along with a few restaurants and clothing boutiques. All in all, we loved the home and can’t wait to go back.

Great floor plan

We have stayed here 4 times now, love this place. It is a little dated if you are looking for new. It works for us, it has everything you need. I love how separated the rooms are for sound. It's a great location, close to Gualala for food. We got pizza from Upper Crust Pizzeria, it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Nice view of the water.
