This is our second time here in the last 7 months. Very clean, friendly staff. It’s very close to restaurants and shopping, but not loud. Everything is updated. Only drawback is parking. If you get there early, no problem. Otherwise, if you get there late, you have to park in the parking lot of another hotel.

My sister flew in from Alaska and I wanted to have a couple of nights with just me and my sisters. I wanted a safe area with free breakfast, a pool and hot tub and lots of choices for food nearby. This hotel fit the bill. The staff was very nice, the food was good, it was clean and we had a really good time. This is the first time it’s been just the three of us in about 16 years. My heart is full. Thank you Holiday Inn and staff!

Dangerous mold problem
Both rooms I was given were ridden with mold. The bed smelled awful and was clearly saturated with mold spores. Unfortunately, I did not notice the smell until the third day because it seemed to have been masked by some disinfectant. I began experiencing symptoms of mold sickness (sore throat, coughing) after the first two nights, but I did not realize the symptoms were mold-related until I was finally able to identify the smell as mold two days later. The second room I was offered had lines of black mold surrounding the entire window frame, and the sill was virtually submerged in a pool of moisture. I suspect the mold pervades the entire hotel as there is not sufficient dehumidification. The building is a health hazard to its staff and guests, and it should be closed down until the mold can be remediated and preventative measures are put in place.

Good afternoon, Jordan, Thank you for the review and we are so sorry to hear this about our newly renovated hotel. I see you reserved an ADA room, and you did not want that room, so we moved you to another room. We wished you would have notified us before you left about your concerns. We had maintenance go in the room and take a look and the metal on the window had some condensation and we cleaned and disinfected it. Most all walls were all new sheet rocked and so this is concerning to us as well, but we did not find it to be full of mold as you state. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to have you come back and stay again.

Newly renovated
We stay here once per year except 2022 when it was under renovations. They did a great job renovating and freshening up. Lobby and breakfast area are more open.

Painting our home with cats.
Very nice hotel that accepted our cats. Dani was very professional at the front desk. We left a night light in our room and we got it back when I called.

The mattress frame stuck out from the side of the mattress and hooked my wife PJ pants and she (81 yr) fell but was not seriously hurt. We told two staff members and hope it gets fixed

Great Stay
The woman at the check in desk was so friendly, helped get our luggage out of the car and then helped bring it to our room! This was a Holiday Inn Express not the Biltmore but she made us feel like it was. The room was updated, clean and the beds were really comfortable.
