    The Space:

    Escape to luxury at this stunning Wine Country estate, nestled on over 5 acres of picturesque Sebastopol countryside. This expansive 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom retreat offers 5,362 sq. ft. of sophisticated living space, perfect for families or groups seeking an unforgettable getaway.



    As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by an open, airy layout with soaring ceilings and large windows that bathe the home in natural light. The living room is the heart of the home, thoughtfully designed for both comfort and style. Plush seating is arranged around a large stone fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Large windows frame sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside, making the space feel even more connected to the outdoors. For entertainment, a flat-screen TV is at your disposal, perfect for movie nights or unwinding with your favorite shows. The open layout flows effortlessly into the dining and kitchen areas.



    The kitchen is a chef’s dream, fully equipped with high-end Sub-Zero appliances, custom cabinetry, and an 8-burner induction stove. Whether you’re cooking a family meal or preparing a gourmet dinner, this kitchen has everything you need. A cozy breakfast nook with vineyard views provides a quiet spot for morning coffee or casual meals, while the formal dining room, with seating for 8 and a separate table for 4, is perfect for gatherings and special occasions.



    Burnside Villa features four beautifully designed bedrooms. The master suite has a king-sized bed, a private balcony with vineyard views, and an ensuite bathroom with a large tub, walk-in shower, double sinks, and a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom, also with an ensuite bathroom, has a queen-sized bed and is perfect for guests seeking a bit more privacy. The third bedroom offers two twin day beds with pull-out trundles, great for children or additional guests. The fourth bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dedicated workstation and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom.



    For relaxation and entertainment, the game room offers a pool table, game table, wine and beer bar, and a 75 inch large-screen TV with a spacious sectional sofa. This setup makes it an ideal spot for family fun, friendly competition, and gatherings for game days or movie nights. Need extra sleeping space? The game room includes a queen-sized Murphy bed conveniently located near a full bathroom.

    Guests will have exclusive access to the entire estate, including all indoor and outdoor spaces. This includes the main house, pool and hot tub area (seasonal use), patios, fitness area, game room, laundry facilities, and 3-car garage. The gated property offers enhanced privacy and security, with additional parking available for RVs, boats, or extra vehicles. Self check-in is available via smart lock, and detailed arrival instructions will be provided before your stay.

    A car is recommended for exploring the area, allowing you to easily visit nearby shops, beaches, and other attractions. The property offers ample parking, including a 3-car garage, additional space for RVs or boats, and a Tesla charger for those looking to charge up before your daily adventure.

    📌No Pets: We love animals, but this home is not pet-friendly.

    📌Quiet Hours: Out of respect for our peaceful setting and neighbors, please observe quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

    📌EV Charging: A Tesla charger is available for guest use in the garage.

    📌Parking: Plenty of parking is available, including a 3-car garage and space for larger vehicles like RVs or trailers.

    📌Security: Exterior cameras are in place at the gate and garage for your safety and peace of mind.

    📌Extras Provided: We provide basic starter supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent to get you settled in comfortably.

    📌 The hot tub is available year-round.

    📌Pool Heating Policy:

    • The pool is open seasonally from April 1st through October 31st.

    • During shoulder season months of May and October, there is a $150 per night fee to heat the pool. Please inquire for April heating, possible on a case-by-case basis.

    • From June through September, the pool naturally maintains a steady temperature in the mid-70s to mid-80s. If you would like the pool heated above the normal summer temperature during these months, there is a $100 per night fee.

    • Please note: We require 48 hours' notice prior to check-in if you would like to add pool heating to your reservation.





    📌To ensure a seamless check-in, all guests must complete a quick pre-check-in verification through our secure guest portal; a link will be sent after your booking is confirmed.

    📌Please note that during the rainy season (typically October through March), outdoor furniture cushions are stored away to protect them from the elements and ensure they remain clean and dry. Consequently, outdoor seating may not be set up as pictured during these months.

This property has a lot going for it: comfortable beds, plenty of space, beautiful views, a great pool and hot tub, and a game room and guitar/piano room our kids loved.Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by an active mouse problem and how it was handled.The day before check-in, we saw a review from three weeks earlier mentioning rodents. We contacted the host, who assured us it had been resolved. Instead, we arrived to find mouse droppings in the pantry (including on shelves and a serving bowl) and throughout the laundry room.After we notified the owners, they sent a cleaner who removed a dead mouse from under the kitchen sink, vacuumed visible droppings, and set traps. The next day we found extensive droppings under the master bathroom sink. We were told pest control would come, but the area remained untouched. On checkout morning, we found fresh droppings in the pantry and another dead mouse.The owners repeatedly insisted this was not an active problem, but fresh droppings and two dead mice made those assurances difficult to believe. One guest refused to eat meals prepared in the house all weekend because of the sanitation concerns.Beyond the rodent issue, the home felt worn for the price: broken hardware, stained sofas, old carpet, deferred maintenance, and a corroded EV charger that didn't work. While once an impressive home, it no longer feels like a premium property. We left disappointed that the condition of the home did not match the premium price.
