Newly built in 2018, this cottage has all the amenities one would want for a delightful stay in creative, artsy Sebastopol. Very private setting, with large redwood deck overlooking a lovely garden. Vaulted ceilings in kitchen and bedroom give this quaint, modern cottage a very spacious feel. Flooded with light. Decorator touches throughout. Double french door entry opens to full kitchen/dining/living suite. Generous modern master bath, includes a laundry area.

Located in one of Sebastopol's most cherished neighborhoods, with a five minute walk to restaurants, theater, shopping, wine tasting ,The Barlow and Sunday's great Farmer's Market.

Right in the heart of West County’s Sprawling Wineries!

We loved staying in this sweet cottage!Mary,the host was very kind and welcoming. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and the bathroom had loads of thick towels and toiletries if you didn't bring your own. Bed was comfy,as well as the couch for reading and relaxing. It was nice having the ability to stream our Netflix too and love having secured internet and laundry machines!All in all, a lovely,light filled cozy cottage in a walkable neighborhood with a wonderful host nearby! We are returning!

Prefect getaway spot!

This is our second stay at this wonderful spot. We love the space and feel so comfortable. It’s perfect for two or for exploring on your own. Great walk ability to great restaurants, shopping and breweries. It’s very central. So you can take easy, short trips to wine tasting, beaches, and the redwoods. And Mary is an excellent host, with a beautiful garden. It’s a quiet neighborhood with lots of birds enjoying the trees and shrubs. You’ll love it.

An Ideal Sanctuary

I needed a weekend to quiet the noise of a busy life and refocus on some critical tasks. I've come to Sebastopol for the day to visit Osmosis as part of my self-care routine every few months. This was the first time I decided to make it a full weekend and I was delighted to find Mary's guest house. Everything is thoughtfully prepared, down to the binder with instructions on how the shower head functions. There is plenty of space for an individual or a couple. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen spacious, and the bathroom clean and tidy. Her shared garden is serene and having a deck to myself was perfect for looking at the stars at night while I had a fresh persimmon from the Sunday farmer's market. I couldn't ask for a better location within walking distance of downtown or a drive further west to the ocean. I know I'll be back for more civilized isolation in the future. Thank you, Mary!

Comfy, Cozy Getaway for Two

We had such a lovely stay in Sebastopol. The guest house was clean, quiet, well equipped, and perfectly comfortable for a long weekend getaway for two. The location was ideal for checking out the quaint downtown area, as well as exploring the wide array of nearby wineries. We would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend it for couples or solo travelers.

Comfort and Attentiveness Through the Storm

We arrived at the guesthouse just prior to the 2/2024 huge storm. Anne was attentive and responsive from the beginning and the guesthouse a perfect retreat for the weekend we has planned to stay there. The rain and wind came and we stayed comfortable and dry, even through most of the power outage that the community and she also experienced. We were so grateful for all of her concern and TLC. We will definitely return to such a warm and restorative environment.

Cottage in Sebastopol

My husband and I came up to Sonoma County for some business mixed with pleasure. Mary's guesthouse was in the perfect location for both parts of our trip. The house was well stocked and we made many of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The weather for nearly every day was beautiful so we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings with our glass of wine. Another major plus was the location. It's literally walking distance to downtown Sebastopol and the Barlow so many many options for eating, tasting and shopping. We had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to come back!

Fall Retreat

Comforting and peaceful guesthouse. Everything necessary within walking distance on what might be the shortest street in Sebastopol. Yet the coast and vineyards are an easy drive. The house was fresh and new with a lot of thought to details that made it feel like home. It was wonderful for me.

Perfect Sebastopol wine country guest house

Everything was better than advertised. The kitchen was well stocked, communication with the property owner was outstanding, and it exceeded expectations in every way. Super close to downtown and the Barlow. We will be back again soon!
