"We had an overall excellent stay at the house in Tumbaco. The house was very nice and met all our expectations. It is completely equipped with all items needed for comfort. The host was very responsive to all our questions about the area. Alex was the best onsite host and was our personal driver for local rides and excursions. We recommend this house as a great place to stay!"

"W spent three nights in this apartment. The view alone was worth the nightly price. There are a couple of delightful restaurants across the street with delicious food and nightly atmosphere. The managers of the property we attentive and available. We did have limited wifi due to the number of apartments sharing the router, but they accommodated my essential needs. The neighborhood is relatively peaceful and certainly safe. "

"El lugar sucio e incómodo. La bienvenida fue buena. Pero un día después de irme el anfitrión me dijo que quería tener cosas conmigo, dos dias antes había tenido relaciones con el del cuarto de la par y ahora resulta que me está acusando de robarle dinero, que le robe dinero de su billetera y entre a su cuarto. Creo que esto es una forma de estafa muy fea. Muy arrepentido, pensé que por ser un lugar humilde no se prestarían a esto. NO LO RECOMIENDO. "

"Illa Experience Hotel is an absolutely beautiful property with both historic and modern elements. Our room (a second floor suite with views of the charming street) was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Indeed, the entire hotel was renovated with thoughtful details. The service was off the charts... seriously - the kindest, most helpful staff ever. They went out of their way to make our stay a pampered one - from accommodating a late check out to sourcing needed medicine in Quito. And the view from the second floor bar of the hills and the Angel of Quito was breathtaking. What a treat!"

"The hotel grounds are gorgeous. Mountain views with beautiful plants and roaming llamas and peacocks. Breakfast was delicious and the playground fun for kids. The only down side are the beds were very uncomfortable in our room. If you like an extra firm mattress this is the place for you"

"Perfect for what we needed, breakfast was excellent and was home-cooked which was lovely, the staffers were consistently very helpful. The jewelry and items on sale in the lobby were very lovely too. The room was a good size and this was a quick ride to the airport which was very convenient. Good cost for the room and services."
