We have traveled for many years. While we have stayed in 5 star, 4 star, 3 star and poorer. We would rate this one a 4 star because it is more than it's clean appearance and great price. It is clean, well cared for, rooms are quaint and down home feeling, it is more of a great value for what you pay. Staying in the Northern Arizona as you head up towards Sedonia, and other trendier spots. This out of the way small hotel, maybe 20 rooms, will surprise you by it's comfortable rooms, and helpful staff. It has more of a bed and breakfast feel than any hotel we have every stayed in for the price and value and it a great value when you are looking for someplace just outside of Sedonia at a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly, sincere and helpful in assisting us in finding our bearings of the region and gave of some great recommendations both for food, local acvitivies and areas of interest. They have a small breakfast area, not fancy buffet, but rather a fairly large assortment of bagels, pastries, cereals, snacks, coffees and tea's for the size of this hotel. THere is a nice breakfast restaurant a short walk away but we had more than enough options just be eating "in" for breakfast and snacks for a very modest price are available all day long. They have a large selection of DVD's available and they surprise at different times of the year by seasonable theming of the property (our time was Halloween, but they also do Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July.
