This is a beautiful home in an isolated neighborhood in the village of Oak Creek. The views of the mountains are phenomenal. The backyard is amazing with the Koi pond and putting greens and just the layout. We rented this house for a business trip with my associates, but I’m going to rent it again for a couples trip sometime in the near future. George, the owner is great.

Beautiful property needs updates

This house is in a wonderful area, with a very pretty view, however there are some things to know before you go. The basement is quite dark and dated. Much of the house is very dated. There is a lot of the owners things in the closets and drawers. One of the bedrooms that shares the main level full bathroom has a door with a glass window with no shade, just frosted. That bedroom is very small and you have to go through one of the other bedrooms to get to the shared bathroom. The basement has a futon and full bathroom but there were no blanket set ups for it, and it is very musty down there, slight smell of mold, just slight. Lastly, there is someone who stays in the Casita on the property. This is not disclosed. He was respectful and stayed gone most the day, but we had all women staying there, and this should have been told to us as the Casita faces the backyard where the jacuzzi and everything is. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful View!

Very comfortable place to stay for all 11 of us. The back patio is lovely and the view is spectacular! Decor is a little dated but furniture was comfortable. Little confusing to know what supplies we could use since the owner didn’t lock up his personal supplies like most owners. Overall a great home in a in a beautiful location!

Best views!

This house is truly amazing. Big and roomy with a wonderful balcony overlooking the red rock. The basement is a great extra space with a beautiful pool table and theater with seating. All nicely appointed and well stocked. House is in an upscale neighborhood close enough to Sedona proper for easy access but just outside the crowded downtown. And the views and backyard setting are so so pretty. We VRBO a luxury home every year in the Fall and this one may be the best one of all. Owner is responsive to any concerns. Overall a very great experience.

Great Christmas Stay!

We held a family reunion. The home had stunning views out the back window and yard and had a wonderful layout for a large gathering. George had the house decorated for Christmas and the home provided plenty of space for six adults. I highly recommend staying her and expect to return (if available) in a couple of years.

Great Location with Beautiful Views

We loved the views and the neighborhood. The size of the house was great for us. The property could use some decluttering and more organization in the closets and cupboards and a bit more attention to the small details. The pantry was well stocked. We had an amazing time in the beautiful Sedona area.

Amazing

Stayed with a group of 5 couples and a an additional friend to do some mountain biking. The house is conveniently located less than 2 miles from the trail head at Bell Rock. There was plenty of room in the garage to secure our bikes when we made trips to Sedona or Jerome. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views from the back patio or the upstairs outdoor space. The house seems more spacious than the listing photos. There was more than enough room for 11 people to coexist without tripping over each other. The outdoor area was the most used after a long day of riding or hiking. Early in the mornings you can see the javelinas passing by. If you’re looking for a place that will house your large group and that is outside of the touristy area of Sedona but close enough for visits this gorgeous home won’t disappoint. The house had everything we needed and the host George was responsive.

Spectacular View

Our group of 8 friends absolutely loved our stay! The backyard was our favorite hang out spot - sitting around the fire pit. What a beautiful view! The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property for large groups.

Sedona Getaway

My husband and I and four other couples spent 3 nights in this very cool house in Oak Creek. The home is spacious with plenty of beds and baths. The common areas were great. We enjoyed cooking, grilling, and enjoying our meals together. The view from the backyard is breathtaking. Each day we explored Sedona but also looked forward to returning to the house to enjoy the spectacular view, putting green, cornhole, pool table, and fire pit. It is a very cool and unique property. Our host George was very responsive to all inquiries. Highly recommend this house.

Fun for all

This house was a perfect for our game loving family. My spouse and I met my siblings and nephews for our first annual family vacation. Ages ranged from 60 to 11 and there was something to love for everyone. Coffee on the patio watching the sunrise each morning was so peaceful. We held a Family Olympic competition, taking full advantage of all the amenities. There were many nearby hikes for all skill levels. Yes, some people had to share a bathroom, but don’t let that deter you. This home far exceeded expectations and I would definitely rent again when in the area.

Fun Stay & Location With a Few Caveats

Five guys in our mid-forties enjoyed our stay at Oak Creek. The house is very much set up for entertaining, and there were chairs & couches all over, which allowed for lots of great hangout time. The location is near some great hiking (Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte), and 20 minutes away from the northern part of Sedona. The two putting greens made for some good fun, and the view from the backyard is fantastic. A few issues - the house is having some restoration done on the outside, and there were many windows with painters tarps taped over them, including the giant window in the living room. The first morning we woke up to find construction workers wanting to work on the outside of the house, which shouldn't be the case. None of this construction situation was communicated to us. Also, there isn't enough room in the single trash can on the driveway, so the house rules say to leave trash in the garage. A previous renter's trash was still in the garage and decomposing, making the garage reek and unusable. Everything else was fine, and I would consider staying here again if these items were fixed or communicated to guests beforehand. Sedona is a beautiful area to escape and connect with nature. And make a reservation for Elote Cafe far in advance, it is well worth it!
