「Family owned motel. Very friendly. Bathroom could use up dating.」

「Older hotel that needs serious renovation. The rooms are Texas size, which is nice. The shower was very easy to use, although I wish it was a walk-in shower rather than a tub-shower combo. The ladies at the front desk were helpful, especially when telling me about popular restaurants in Mabank and Gun Barrel City. I frequented two of them (one Italian; one steakhouse) and they were excellent. But I discovered rust stains in the bedroom section and bathroom, one of the lamps didn't illuminate,...

「The sheets were clean and carpet was vacuumed. However, the walls were stained with dirt. Needed a paint job. Tub spout and toilet paper holder was barely hanging on. Some parts of the base trim had roofing paper on it. You can smell smoke all night from people smoking outside. If you’re just there to sleep, then it is perfect for that.」

「The A/C was on 85 when I arrived to my room. I had booked the room on-line, so they knew I was coming. The door and other areas were in a great need of a coat of paint. The water was hot and the sheets were clean. If you are in need of a very basic place to stay, this is it.」
