First time in the area we were overwhelmed by all to do. The cabin was a great retreat, very comfortable and a great location. Lots of room for our bags, hooks for towels. You really thought of us and we enjoyed the cabin.
Our stay was great the property was clean and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and the yard was private. The location is not too far from shopping and dining options but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful.
This cabin and location was perfect for our week getaway! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy including Christmas trees decorations which made it even better because made us feel at home. The cabin is located very close to everything and hope to come back again. Highly recommended!
We absolutely loved this house. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The location was perfect. I liked that it was at a dead end, our dog is not a people person so it was nice that we didn’t have a lot of traffic going by all the time. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our stay! It in an easy to access location and perfect distance to get to both the Smoky Mountains and to the touristy activities near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our only (very minimal) complaints were the hot tub could have been a little cleaner (kids still enjoyed it) and we wish the screened in porch wasn’t made into an all season porch. It got pretty warm due to being closed off to the fresh air. Overall, awesome place that we would book again!
We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was exactly as listed and clean. Great location as it was just off the road and the last house in the back. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking, dishes, and glass wear. Gas station is across the neighborhood entrance and dollar general, a food truck spot and a few restaurants are just a minute away. Highway location perfect access for pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Far enough away but close enough to explore. Didn’t use the fire pit because of the burn ban. Had a pretty severe storm our last night and felt secure. Loved our stay and hope to be back soon.
My husband, two teens, and dog stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we pulled in at night the outdoor firepit lights were lit up and felt so welcoming.
Everything was clean and in good working order, including the hot tub. The couches and beds were really comfortable, even the pull out couch which is not usually the case. We had all of the space we needed. The front yard was ample and perfect for getting our dog outside as she is used to at home with the fenced yard. You may not have mountain views directly off of the property, but immediately down the lane are gorgeous vistas. We loved the location as well - we didn't need to be right in the middle of the parkway, and enjoyed the quieter area still easily accessible to the parkway and Gatlinburg.
This great cabin is in the perfect location if you are looking to be near all the fun sites, but not in the middle of the mayhem. We stayed for one week and felt like we were close enough to do everything we wanted at the park and both in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The cabin was well appointed, and all of the beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fenced in front yard for our pups, but if you have a squirrel chaser like I do, it might be smart to bring a long line. My squirrel chaser could hop that fence in a heartbeat to get at her favorite critters.
The surrounding cabins were quiet and respectful, which is always a plus. I will note that as of July 2023 they are building a cabin in the neighborhood next door and at times it was loud. It did not bother us at all, but just something to mention if you want complete tranquility.
Overall, we would stay here again in a heartbeat should we ever be in the area. I do highly recommend it.
Our family of 5 spent 7 days at Creekside Cottage over the Christmas holiday. The location is perfect - just close enough to places like Dollywood but completely out of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The house was cozy and very comfy. LOVED the added touches with Christmas decorations and a tree. The kitchen served our needs well - we had everything we needed to cook meals and have family dinners. The tie off in the fenced yard was wonderful for our goldendoodle pup. Our teenagers enjoyed the volleyball game, fire pit for roasting marshmallows, hiking down to the creek and the hot tub. My hubby and I enjoyed the porch and the easy walk to the winery at the end of the driveway. Our only issue was the well water smell - we were aware from other reviews that it could be an issue and it was. It has a very, very strong rotten egg smell from the sulfur. Overall this was a wonderful vacation spot, giving us the quiet, relaxing and peaceful space we were looking for! The welcome basket was such a sweet added surprise too - we used almost everything in the basket while we were there - THANK YOU! Great stay in a great place!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
It was just ok!
Cabin was NOT CLEAN upon arrival like it should have been. Several different things we found that showed us the cabin hadn’t been throughly cleaned in a long time! Clothes dryer was also broken upon arrival and would only dry on low. We had 4 adults and 1 child so we spent alot of time trying to get clothes dry. All appliances should be working at all times, this is the responsibility of the management company to make sure all appliances are working properly. This management company oversees 90 properties so they have a big job to do but they MUST DO BETTER. So let’s talk about communication now, I received a text 7 of the 14 days we stayed telling me what to do to keep the pipes from freezing. I appreciated it the first time BUT there was WAY TOO MANY REMINDERS of the same thing. I guess they thought we were stupid. The cabin was in a beautiful location at the end of a street in Wears Valley. It was just ok nothing more. We probably wouldn’t stay here again.
Nice place, with everything you could need. Loved the outdoor spaces and screened in porch area. Also nice and private as it’s the last cabin on the road so it was great.
Great location , nice cabin, only issue we had was the bedrooms are both upstairs and we struggled with that due to health issues. I suggest updating the description to include that information for future guests.
We stayed here back in May and found this to be very good place to stay. We liked it in general and we also liked the location. I would certainly give this place a recommendation as a worthy place to stay. Overall on my own scale I would give it about 4.3 out of 5 stars. No complaint though.
The home was very easy to find. Very peaceful location. The home was well stocked. We loved having the fenced in yard for our fur babies to be able to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. Just a note: both bedrooms are upstairs so if you have mobility issues this is not the cabin for you.
