Escape to our charming 2,500-square-foot farmhouse, nestled on 10 scenic acres in beautiful Wears Valley, Tennessee. Surrounded by trees, open pastures, and a peaceful creek, The Farmhouse offers a relaxing getaway where families and friends can enjoy the beauty of nature and the simple pleasures of country living.

Conveniently located just 5 miles from Townsend and an entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and approximately 10 miles from Pigeon Forge (Traffic Light #3), our farmhouse offers the best of both worlds—peaceful country surroundings with easy access to popular attractions.

Best of all, you won't have to navigate steep mountain roads, sharp drop-offs, or intimidating cliffside drives to reach the property! The Farmhouse is situated on a quiet, dead-end country road with spacious front and back yards.

MEET OUR FARM ANIMALS!

One of the most memorable parts of staying at The Farmhouse is getting to know our miniature farm animals.

Our miniature horses, Teddy and Beauty, are a little shy while our miniature donkeys, Donnie and Poncho, are very friendly! Donnie and Poncho are always favorites with guests, especially children!

Enjoy watching them graze near the red barn or wander toward the backyard, hoping for a treat of miniature carrots or cut-up apples. We also have chickens and barn cats that add to the authentic farmhouse experience.

The surrounding countryside is home to an abundance of wildlife. Depending on the season, you may see wild turkeys, woodpeckers, hawks, eagles, and other birds. Listen for the sounds of owls and whip-poor-wills as you enjoy the peaceful country atmosphere.

Our three-bedroom, three full bathroom farmhouse is decorated in a warm, traditional country style, with an open floor plan that allows everyone to gather together while still offering separate spaces to relax.

- The open kitchen and dining area is perfect for preparing family meals and gathering around the table.
- There is seating for 10 guests, with six at the dining table and four at the kitchen bar counter.
- Two large sliding glass doors offer wonderful views of the creek, farm animals, and surrounding countryside.

Comfortable Living Room
Relax and enjoy time together in our welcoming living room with a large sofa AND 2 recliner chairs

TV & Game Room
- Our separate TV and game room features an impressive 75-inch television and DVD player, games and children's books.
- French doors allow the room to be closed for privacy, making it a convenient additional sleeping area.
- The sofa converts into a queen-size sleeping space using an air mattress and a 4.5-inch cooling gel memory foam topper for added comfort.

Laundry Room
A convenient laundry room is available for guests with full size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron

Downstairs Full Bathroom
The downstairs bathroom includes a walk-in shower, grab bars and accessibility features.

Accessibility Features
We have made several modifications to help accommodate guests with mobility limitations.

These include:

- A wheelchair/walker ramp leading to the side porch

- There is a 4-inch door threshold between the porch and door

- A downstairs bathroom with a walk-in shower

The back porch features a gas grill, table and 4 chairs—perfect for outdoor dining while listening to the creek and watching the miniature donkeys graze nearby.

Fire Pit & Picnic Area
Gather around the backyard fire pit for an evening of conversation, roasting marshmallows, or making s'mores beneath the stars.

A picnic table provides another inviting spot for outdoor meals.

ROOM TO PLAY
Unlike many mountain cabins built along steep hillsides and cabins stacked all around, The Farmhouse offers spacious front and back yards where children can play ball, enjoy cornhole, and spend time outdoors.
