讚好：整潔度
Very enjoyable stay! The host was very communicative and friendly. Even checked in the second day of our stay via text to see how things were going and to see if we needed anything. The house itself was not too big and not too small. Just the perfect amount of room. Very clean and well organized and comfy. You are in a beautiful wooded area but only 15 minutes from the Parkway. Some caveats, which luckily for us didn’t impede our enjoyment of the place, just giving an FYI to people considering the rental. They have well water so you need to bring your own drinking water and water for coffee etc. I rechecked the listing throughly and didn’t see this listed. I didn’t find this out until a few days before my trip. For those with limited mobility, not even just including wheelchairs, the path from where you park to the house is kinda steep and is comprised of imbedded stones. It isn’t shown in the pictures included in the listing. Just shows the path to the game room. It can be a bit tricky to climb when carrying luggage or during/after rain. Not a deal breaker for us but just wanted people to be aware. If the morning light wakes you up easily you may wish to bring a sleep mask. The curtains are very sheer, with the ones in the master bedroom being slightly see through and none have blinds underneath. None of these things made our stay there unenjoyable. We just felt they were things people should know in advance. Still would highly recommend this lovely hideaway.
