The property is very clean and well maintained, and the beds and sheets are wonderful! Even though the description didn’t include a hair dryer, this was the first place I’ve ever stayed that didn’t have one. There is very little cookware and it’s barely usable. The view is beautiful and the stream is a lovely sound. Porches are really nice for relaxing. A bit scary coming into the drive from the east but the fisheye mirror helps. Stairs take some getting used to because they’re narrow and steep. No reclining furniture or footstools. Overall a decent place to stay.

I saw 2 bears 🐻

Pretty decent little spot. Pretty close to everything. Everything is within a 10 to 15 minute ride. I would suggest for the property owner to leave some cleaning supplies and hot tub supplies but overall pretty good stay!

Cabin was nice, but would not rent again.

Cabin was much smaller than we anticipated. While our stay was okay, we would not rent there again. The cabin was poorly cleaned as you could write your name in the dust under the TV. The hot tub did not work! Nor did the dishwasher. Aunt Bug's Cabin Rentals had told us when we called with questions about reviews on the cabin that the pool table had been repaired; it had not. The access door to the fireplace kept falling open as it was obviously broken and had not been repaired. And these were only the main problems. We would never use this cabin again, as we visit the area 4 to 5 times per year, and if this is the quality of maintenance and cleanliness of Aunt Bug's Cabin Rentals, we will not rent cabins managed by them again either.

Okay stay

Im not one to leave bad reveiws on anything. But, the house couldve been cleaned a bit better. Tooth paste dried on walls in both bathrooms. Ceiling fans had a lot of dust on them. Thankfully we didnt turn them on. The king bed is awful for a person who has a bad back. The floors hadnt been cleaned as well. The shower heads hadnt been cleaned in who knows how long. The hottub wasnt cleaned and i specifically called and asked them to make sure it was. Wouldnt even get to temperature and stayed 40 degrees.

Trip

The cabin was not as clean as it should have been. There was dust on top of the refrigerator that you could write your name on. The windowsills all had dust and grime in them. The vent in the bathroom was so covered dust. Both bedspreads were ripped. We notified the Aunt Bugs Cabins about the problems. They did offer to come clean the problems but we didn’t want people coming after we were already in the cabin. To get into the home you have approximately 4 steps to the bottom Floor then to get to the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms you have to go up Approximately 8-12 stairs. If you go to the floor with bedrooms kitchen and bathrooms from outside there are approx 15-20 steep stairs. We were disappointed paying the price we did.

We booked this cabin because it was pet friendly. Pictures look great on internet but they were deceiving. Cabin wasn't clean & several things did not work or was broken. We had 2 towels & wash towels each for 4 adults for 5 nights. Yes, we can & did wash them but who wants to do laundry while vacationing?

Mountain Vacation!

Absolutely love the location of this property, big trees and the creek were a +++. The cabin is nice and comfortable. Appreciated the positive, simple but tasteful decor and provisions. The turn on/off of Wears Valley is bad - no fault of the owner, but the community could add some more reflectors. It needs some updates, such as foundational reinforcements beneath the hot tub, guard rail repairs, and general upkeep - beyond this, wonderful place to stay and relax!

Did not get what advertized

I specifically rent a cabin with a hot tub and either pool table or game room when we go to Tennessee in case the weather is not agreeable for outdoor excursions, for my kids. While this location did have both, neither could he used! The hot tub was so nasty I would not have put my dog inside. Had some sort of smallish organisms/ sea monkey looking things reproducing/growing inside not to mention was so dirty it needed to be drained and thoroughly cleaned before it could used!! There was a pool table, but one long side of it was broken in as if someone had laid or sat on it so could not be used. All balls rolled to one side of the table. Also...there was an American flag flying on the 2nd balcony that was completely faded, tattered, and shredded from being weathered. As former military, there is nothing more disrespectful to our country or servicemen or women to fly a flag like that. Might as well have been a Russian flag!!!

Perfect for a week away

Quiet. Close enough to activities and far enough away for privacy. Loved waking up and having coffee on the deck listening and watching the water. One showerhead was missing, but not a big deal for us. All supplies needed were available. Fast communication regarding any reservation questions. Thank you!

Spring Break

Beautiful cabin in the woods with everything you need. Nice deck with clean hot tub to relax in after a day of hiking. Location is great as it offers 15-20 minutes drive through country roads to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Found that pull out couch had some issues but they brought us out a brand new 18inch thick queen inflatable bed to use the next day. Would not hesitate to rent from them again.

Our experience

Location, access to amenities and cabin was great. However, it needs a deep cleansing. Ceiling fans and floor ( lots of dust), stove oven (greasy and sticky)were not clean. Power went off due to winter storm during our last night. We could not enjoy using the hot tub since we planned on doing it on our last night in the cabin and the inclement weather did not allow us to. We woke up to no running water the last morning. Everything else was good but please, do a deep cleaning to the cabin and furniture to make the stay more enjoyable and worth the value of the money paid for the stay.

Great location for quick getaway

Family of 5 stayed for a quick 2 night getaway. Two bedrooms with two more couches big enough for adults to sleep all upstairs. Downstairs has a nice pool table for late night fun. Creek running below the property makes for great ambient noise while relaxing in the hot tub. There are required two sets of steep stairs to get to the upstairs, but not too bad to get up with your gear.

Location, comfort & privacy

My husband and I spent our 35th year “honeymoon” at this cabin. The property managers were a pleasure to work with; easy rental process, express check in/check out, checked in with us via text and promptly answered any questions. The property is close to area attractions yet private with a few other cabins a good distance away. The cabin was clean and contained everything we needed. Really enjoyed evenings sitting by the outside fireplace, the inside gas fireplace one rainy night and especially the hot tub. Would definitely rent again!
