It was a very lovely cabin; however, the beds were extremely uncomfortable for all of us. We love the fire pit, the hot tub and all the games. Overall is a very nice place.

The property was perfect roads aren’t great but cabin made up for it. Wish there had been a better view but again the Cabin layout and cleanliness made our trip wonderful.

Check-in was easy and communication was great! Wi-if was okay, but could have been better with the iPhones. Stay was delightful and I enjoyed the amenities. The master bed was uncomfortable, however the other beds were great! I would recommend this cabin.

Great Family Vaca

We enjoyed the cabin. It was great! We loved everything about our stay. We even had a family of bears visit! The only thing that was a little disappointing was the view. I thought we would have had a better view but the trees were so tall we couldn’t see anything. But that’s ok, we weren’t in the cabin that much except at night. We would stay here again!!

Spring Break Trip

The cabin was very clean and I felt very safe in the neighborhood. The drive can be very steep and intimidating. The kitchen was decently stocked but no pan to make muffins and no grounds for coffee etc. The hot tub was nice to enjoy after a long day at Dollywood and the kids enjoyed the game room.

Beautiful property and surroundings! Kitchen is full of everything you need. The drive up is a little rough but definitely worth it. Will definitely be back!

We were in town for a cheer competition. This cabin was convenient and perfect in size for our family. The cabin had all the items we needed to complete our stay.

Nice cabin, terrible drive

We loved the cabin although there’s an issue with the floor sinking in front of the tub downstairs. Very clean and beautiful I would stay again. I would say you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle and has pretty scary steep hills and hairpin tight turns.

the best cabin we've used in the area

Three things I really want to mention: the cleanliness, the roads, and the security staff. 1) My husband and I take a trip to the Gatlinburg area once a year, sometimes twice if we take the kids. I'm a real clean freak - most vacation homes and even hotel rooms make my skin crawl when I think about the number of people that have used them. This is a short-coming on my part, can't help it. I have to say, this is the cleanest property I have EVER stayed in - Gatlinburg, or otherwise. There were no weird stains, smells in the linens, questionable dishes. I was very happy, very impressed with this cabin - and that means a lot coming from me. Everything smelled clean, looked clean, felt clean and I didn't get grossed once. 2) I saw a lot of reviews saying the roads were kind of scary when trying to get to the cabin. This made me nervous because I'm familiar with this area and most cabins are on the side of a mountain, tucked away, or sometimes harder to get to. I want to say for anyone worried about it - I didn't find this spot to be any more difficult to access than most of the cabins I've stayed in. Yeah, it's kind of deeper into the resort but there weren't any moments where I thought I was going to accidentally slip off the road and the vast majority of the roads are paved and big enough for two cars to drive down (with the exception of some spots where new houses are being put up) 3) one of the security guards was kind of rude when we checked in. Everything else was A+.

If your looking for a perfect getaway look elsewhere....

Horrible location, Cabin filled with dust, Zero views at this cabin while others do have a nice view this listing is misleading. wont stay again. Road construction right in front of cabin leading to unnecessary noise and a nightmare entering and leaving the cabin!

Adventure in the Great Smokey Mountains

The place was terrific. We had a great time and saw bears on several occasions. Since the remnants of Hurricane Helene were going through the area on the day of our arrival, it was great that Shagbark sent us updates via text regarding road flooding, powerlines down, and trees down. Later, letting us know that the roads were open and power restored.

September anniversary getaway

My husband and I were celebrated our wedding anniversary on Sept 15th. We rented the cabin as a getaway and it was wonderful. The views were spectacular. The cabin was clean, cozy, efficient and enjoyable with a pool table in game room. We had a hot tub but we never used it. We spent most of our time exploring the Great Smoky Mountains. Gatlinburg visitors center was a great place, you can park car for free and ride free trolley throughout Gatlinburg. You can also pick up parking passes for park at visitors center for $5 for the day. No cost to drive through park, but we parked at several locations for photos and to explore. Very much worth it. There is also a trolley in Pigeon Forge, but it is $1 for a ride and $3 for an all day pass. You can park free at Patriot Park and catch Pigeon Forge trolley. The ride up to the cabin was challenging due to being very steep, narrow and no guard rails with an extremely steep and long drop down of probably up to 3000 ft if not more. Overall, we had an absolutely great time calling this cabin our home for 4 days!
