This was such a cozy cabin nestled in the woods! Even though we had a few people around us, none of them were insanely close and we felt like we had all the privacy in the world. It was very clean, exactly the size we needed, and the hot tub was great! The host was very communicative and answered any and all questions we had. 10/10 stay, we definitely plan on coming back!

The cabin was more than we could have hoped for! It was clean, it was comfortable, and looked exactly like the pictures! The hot tub was amazing. We’re picky about beds when we stay somewhere, and the bed didn’t disappoint either! The pullout in the couch was ok, it’s a pull out so a little uncomfortable, but not horrible. Rod and Julie were super communicative and nice. Check in and out was a breeze. We would love to stay at this cabin, or one of the others, again!

I did not get to actually stay. I had a soft top Jeep and the bear decided to tear their way into my jeep and I had to find another place to go, but the cabin was nice and probably would’ve been a good time.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin. We even saw a mama bear and her 2 cubs. First time ever for me. It was quiet and very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Overall - the stay was good but could have been better. Unfortunately, the AC was not working correctly for 2 days, there was a drawer that was broken and not fixed the whole time there, and the cabin was not as clean as we would have expected.

This property is exactly as listed. My little family of 4 loved it. My daughters had a blast on the arcade game and played it all night. They loved the swimming pool and especially the hot tub (so did us adults). It was so convenient for us to have the grill and accessories in the kitchen that everyone dreads dragging on vacation. It made our vacation so much better not having to worry if we brought something to cook with. We will definitely be booking again soon!

Great place to stay. The cabin feels like a home away from home. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for better place to stay. Keep your car doors locked. We had a bear come visit us about noon one day. Came right on the porch. Rod and Julie thank you for a wonderful cabin for us to spend our anniversary vacation in. We hoped to be back again soon!!

Ok cabin

The cabin was ok except for the hot tub. It was not enclosed properly to be safe from bears. And the outdoor furniture had a lot to be desired. Very dirty.

Perfect little place!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay the location is absolutely perfect, it’s a 30ish minute drive to most of the things we were doing but 15 is within the gated community which is simply perfect! I loved having piece of mind that we were in a safe location that no rif raf could get into! we absolutely loved this little place and are already planning to come back sometime! Rod was wonderful to deal with,he gave us an early check in and late check out, and we didn’t even have to ask! I also love that there is NO cleaning list for you on your way out the door, it makes travel day so much simpler because you aren’t running around trying to make sure you did all the things, here you just throw the towels in the tub and lock the door!

An incredible cabin to stay

Rod called me ahead of time and that was very helpful. He told me about the rental and local suggestions. He was very polite and i can see he was going to be a great host.my 10 year old son loved the arcade machine in the cabin, and the hot tub. It was a very safe and cute area. It was perfect to make ky father son trip that much more memorable. Thank you Rod for letting us stay in your cabin. I will definitely love to stay here in the future.

Beautiful Area

Place was very nice and well kept. Location was so peaceful away from busy roads and traffic. The drive to the cabin made it fun and enjoyable. Overall great stay will book again. Rod the owner was always available for our needs and answered when and if we called him.

Our weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Our only concern was the trees that had fell and were braced by a limb of another tree. which if it had broken they would have fell on the bedroom. The only recommendation would be to add knobs or handles to the kitchen cabinets so they are easier to open. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the peacefulness of the area. Thank you

Beyond Blessed Cabin

A friend and I planned a last-minute trip to the mountains for the weekend of January 17th-19th, 2025. After looking and looking for cabins that would be available, not too pricey, and that met all our requirements, we came across the “Beyond Blessed” cabin and decided it was the best fit for us! The check-in at the security guard went smoothly, and the cabin was lit up as expected.Rod even messaged us Saturday afternoon and offered us a late checkout on Sunday, but knowing that snow/ice was moving in on Sunday morning/afternoon, we decided to leave early. Also, to add to the weather, Shagbark sent out weather updates Saturday afternoon and continued to send them throughout the day on Sunday, even making the decision to close some of the roads in Shagbark due to the ice! Although we had already left, I thought this was very helpful for the guests there And now to the real deal— The hot tub was a huge hit! The cabin had everything you needed and more. VERY CLEAN and a comfortable bed—a huge win in my book! The only thing I feel needs to be stressed is that the driveway is up a hill on the opposite side of the road—we had to turn around in a driveway and then go up BUT that wasn’t a problem for us! Also, the street numbers need to be placed better where you can see them!Overall, I would highly, highly recommend staying with Rod and Julie at Shagbark! Great community, easy access to things (20ish minute drive into Pigeon Forge).
