A wonderful place to stay!

We had a large group, filling all the bedrooms and we were very comfortable. I had several questions before we arrived and the host was quick to respond and so very accommodating. The location is beautiful, the house is well stocked, beds are comfortable, the house was very clean and we had the best time. Thanks for hosting us!

Has lots of potential!

Property needs attention. Code to get in didn't work & initially difficult to contact host, but once we got a contact, they were prompt to respond.In advance of our stay, we were told of non-working microwave, but NOT told that it was connected to the wall oven, so we did NOT HAVE a working oven for two weeks we were there....we had to run to the Carriage house to bake, but eat where there was room for everyone in the Main house....lots of running back and forth!Issues FIXED: master shower door closing, master tub had nails sticking out, lights out in laundry & master closet, no paddles/balls for ping pong table, unusable pans, no BBQ utensilsNOT FIXED: doorknob/lock on the wrong side in 1 bedroom, leaving it unusable for us, website info was slightly confusing because there are 2 separate houses, and the "nearby" airport is not commercial, some doors didn't stay closed, dishwashers did not clean, no dressers in some rooms, multicade not working, foosball falling apart, rugs over carpet keeping doors from shutting or you trip over rolled edges, no stair on back porch of Main house (BIG DROP from porch to yard).Some issues were resolved promptly, but these should've been done in advance and we were inconvenienced when trying to "get away" with our family.Note: STEEP hill at neighborhood entrance, which ices in winter!Great layout, kitchen storage, yard, parking, decor, hot tubs, beautiful property. If they get this fixed up a little, it will be an amazing rental!

No help not cleaned broken appliances

On arrival, 1 hour after posted check in time, we found mountains of trash bags outside from previous guests, every bedroom was dirty, leaves all over floors, nothing was clean, kitchen faucet was broken, oven didn’t work, minimal hot water. Couldn’t get hold of host, until after I contacted VRBO representative directly. Someone came, after several hours, approx 8pm, to only clean the baths and beds so we could bathe and have a place to sleep. We were asked to sit in our cars so they could clean, said it was POLICY. We refused, it was cold and dark outside. Although most of the party sat on patio. It was a very nice hispanic couple, who spoke no english, we struggled to communicate through translator app AND they had to bring their toddler. My 8y/o grand daughter entertained the toddler so they could clean. Over the stay I repeatedly tried to contact host about when all would be done, but only got sporatic responses. I was refunded 1 nights fee. The faucet was fixed and final cleaning crew came after 2 days. Very nice maintenance guy arrived the 2nd NIGHT and stayed for about 3 hrs till midnite, The oven & hot water was never repaired.This was for wedding party lodging & reception after wedding. Terrible experience for the party to bathe & dress with no hot water, impossible to cook roast and casseroles for reception with no oven. I asked several times for a 2nd nights refund for all the inconvenience, but never got a response again. Could have been a nice stay, but wasnt!
