The hosts were amazing, very hospitable and gave us pointers on things to see in the area since it was a first time to Seward for us.Host had everything you could have possibly needed but forgot.We will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Seward.

It was a short stay, but the location was perfect. Lona was very gracious and a lot of fun to chat with. The location was perfect and the grounds are very clean.

Amazing location and host

This location is beautiful and has everything you could need for your trip. The views the creek the accommodation. Lona was amazing and such a pleasure to talk with and share stories. Her Bear paw cookies are delicious!!!

This was a great place to stay while visiting Seward. It is stocked with everything you could possibly think of, was clean, and has a steamer sauna in the shower. Lona is super welcoming and left homemade chocolate chip cookies for us. Highly recommend!

Just what we needed!

We stayed two nights here while exploring nearby hiking and taking a day cruise with Kenai Fjords tours. I would love to come back and stay longer as this cabin was roomy and well equiped.

Amazing little place

This was a perfect place for our family of four. Perfect location, away from the bustle of town. Such a gracious host and so responsive to our requests. Every amenity you have at home was here. The kitchen was amazing and had everything you could need including the little things like plastic wrap and foil. It’s the little things that matter and this place had them all!

Great place

We enjoyed the well stocked guest house nestled at the foot of the beautiful Seward mountains. Clean and comfy. I highly recommend this place. A few miles out of Seward.

Sure is a getaway

As we had an event packed weekend, the place provide me and my two son's a place to relax and be away from the hotel environment. Great place for a couple or as it was for me, parent and children, it provided well. Well stocked cookware and utensils. On my next little retreat (i live in Anchorage, Ak) i may pick this place in the future Cheerios

Convenient place to stay if taking day cruise

We and our 16-year-old granddaughters enjoyed our stay. The place was artistically decorated, with a beautiful hand-made quilt of fishes. It was very convenient to the fjord cruise departure point.

Sweet and cozy

We had a great little stay and Loni was wonderful. Sweet spot they have there, it was cozy and beautiful. The grounds are lovely and anything you Needed was provided. Close enough to town to go and explore, far enough away that you don’t have the lights or the sounds.

Fisherman's Get Away

The Fisherman’s Getaway was a great place to stay. Speedy communication, spotless, so cozy and comfortable, convenient and quiet location, had everything we needed and more, plus homemade cookies! Don’t let the fact that it’s not actually in Seward deter you. It’s only a couple minutes drive, and even closer to the road to Exit Glacier hike (also recommend 10/10). The ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom are shorter than standard but that was not an issue for us being all under 6 feet. There are even more amenities than listed, like an air fryer and crock pot. It was the most well stocked rental I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Awesome Seward Property for Great Alaska Vacation

This is an authentic Alaska stay. Great location close to Seward. Private relaxing location to soak up all Alaska has to offer. The host is so nice and has great stories. I would love to go back and hear more Alaska living stories. Highly recommend this location.

Everything considered!

Every possible thing a guest could need was provided! This is exceptional. Our stay was fantastic, and the steam shower was an unexpected WOW! The space is comfortable, clean, and very doable for two couples. We were greeted warmly and communication was very smooth and timely. We would stay again!!

Seward Cottage

Had a great stay at the cottage. Lona was a wonderful host. She was communicative about the booking and accommodated our date change after booking the property. The property was well stocked and she took care to make it feel like home. There is a great shared outdoor space that includes a fire pit and backyard games like horseshoes and corn hole.

Seward Sensation

Dean and Lona are wonderful hosts. Warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Fishermen’s Getaway. The accommodations are clean and homey. A well equipped kitchen with everything you need! I would definitely recommend staying here and wish we could stay longer!
