Lovely stay

We arrived late at the hotel because of an event, however staff were friendly and booked us in with no fuss. The room was lovely and we have no complaints.

ちょっとイメージと違いました・・・

スタッフはフレンドリーではあるものの、建物がかなり古く、部屋で過ごしていると廊下の音など気になります。滞在者の殆どがリタイアされたお年寄りで、家族連れだとやや浮いてしまいました。朝食付きプランでお願いしましたが、ホテルがそう認識してくれておらず、交渉する必要がありました。コンチネンタルブレックファストはパックランチのような仕様。

Great location

Great location but hotel room very dated. Was informed food on until 2145. Enquired at 2035 to find kitchen closed. Room clean but very dated. Lovely helpful staff

Little jewel in the heart of Shanklin

Great little jewel in the heart of Shanklin, service by all hotel team were great. The rooms are outdated but clean throughout. Would say there is a lot of potential. Everything you need is a 5-10minute walk away. Would I stay again... yes.

4 day break.

The pictures looked good but that's about it really. Decor is 1970,'s. Location was good but expect to pay for parking rather than use the hotel car park unless you have been before. We paid 25.20 for four days parking after being told that the hotel parking was for returning guests only. Although on some days the parking was not full. The cold tap did not work on arrival nor did the flush on the toilet although they did sort it quickly. But if you want a bath expect to wait a while for it to fill up.

The property is vey 70’s, although clean, the room was very hot and stuffy even with the window open all day and night and lacks a fridge, there is one member of the staff (front desk) which talks down to people and isn’t very friendly (long blond hair in her 30’s) she has no place working there. Shanklin is a beautiful place,but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
