“We rented this place for the first time for a family gathering. The setting was very private and “country-ish”. For the most part everything listed was present at the place and there were enough sleeping options for our crew. Overall - the owners were nice and fairly responsive but there was a level of disappointment to the care of the property and more importantly the preparedness for our arrival. They said the pool and hot tub were cleaned and ready but the pool was still dirty and the hot tub……

“This cozy cottage is exactly as listed and so much more! It is very spacious inside and was immaculate. The hostess left us waters and snacks which was a nice touch when we arrived. The firepit was so nice to enjoy on a chilly night. The house was situated very close to White Memorial Conservation Center and to downtown Litchfield. It was simply perfect and we will definitely be back.”

“We loved the house, and the pool/hot tub, and the hammock, and the yard, and the deers that came to visit us on the deck!!! Close to a couple of recreational areas, playgrounds, small zoo, a bunch of farms and a fantastic pizza joint (three brothers)! We'd love to come back!”

“We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. It was a cold and rainy evening. We were giving up when Katherine contacted us and helped direct us to……

“Loved the property. The owners even made us steak and lobster upon arrival to accomadate for something that was out of their control with the pool but did not affect the usage of the pool. First class all the way and the horses were so amazing. The kids loved feeding them carrots, which the host provided. Fantastic home for family gatherings. Pet friendly and kid fun. The pool and jacuzzi were great, kitchen has everything so dont bring anything. Overall a great and cozy fun home, looking……

“Through the neighborhood at the end of the quiet road tucked behind other houses is this lovely, tidy, efficiently laid out, well equipped home. The placement on the lot is perfect making it easy to forget you're only a few minutes from in-town Poughkepsie. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Wish we'd found it when our son started college in Poughkeepsie rather than for graduation!”
