Pacifica Sharp Park Beach Hotels

"I will admit, I booked the hotel without really reading reviews. I didn't look till a night or two before our arrival, but when I did, I got a little nervous. We arrived and we were impressed with the location and thought the property itself was beautiful. If you're looking for a luxury property, I'd venture to say you're better off in the city, but if you want a comfortable, safe, and accessible property to the beach with restaurants, a market, etc within a reasonable distance, this hotel is amazing. Our room was clean, had an awesome view, was easily accessible with parking. Only one night did we get back a little later and had to park a little farther away, but I genuinely don't understand some of the negative reviews. We were here for 4 days. My only complaint was the walls being a little thin, but generally our neighbors were quiet. My experience with the staff was great. Front desk was helpful, polite and was there when I needed something printed, no questions asked. The pool though smaller, is indoors and heated. My son has special needs, and when we travel as a family, there's things about some hotels that make the experience just better than others...and he really loved coming here and was comfortable.. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and giving my little family a fantastic Spring Break. We loved it, and we'll be back soon for sure!!"

"Had a rough stay at the Inn at Rockaway. Thin walls made it hard to sleep with noise from neighboring rooms, water pressure was a trickle, and the mattress was super uncomfortable. No screens on windows, and the parking lot was full so I ended up parking on the street. Broken chair in the room didn't help. Ocean view was the highlight, but wasn't enough to make up for it. Price was okay, but wouldn't recommend unless you're on a super tight budget."

"The view was beautiful, front and center, though there are a lot of passer byers so not much privacy on the deck and I might mention the deck is only for standing, not enough space to have a seat or put a seat. If you need more towels, more coffee, cups, anything really be prepared to call them twice and remind them before they bring anything. They will not clean your room while you are there even if you request it. Location was cute restaurants everywhere but very expensive for basic food. Cute little gift shops, a dispensary, ice cream parlor, you name it all in one location. The hotel pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. The ice machine will dispense ice only, so bring your own water. No microwave in rooms, one on the second floor in the corner. Elevator doors close extremely fast so if you have children hold your arm in the opening so the doors don't close without you in with them. There are luggage carts everywhere which was very useful and nice. Beds were comfortable, TV channels were very limited but we didn't mind, we weren't there to watch TV. Beautiful State Beach two minutes down the road, hard to find parking the later in the day you go. Great location but come prepared with your own things cause the hotel itself isn't very accommodating a d to eat out will cost you a pretty penny anywhere within walking distance. "

"Only issues we had was there are no clocks except for the microwave which meant you HAD to look at your phone. Also, there were no extra blankets to cover with either while in bed or while sitting outside or watching TV. I did not see a welcome binder. Other than that, it was an excellent stay and would definitely recommend to anyone. "
