"This beautiful gem is perfectly located at Shawnigan Lake, approximately 30 min from downtown Victoria. This property comes fully equipped with a kitchen, BBQ, king size bed, patio, and a hot tub. And of course, Ruby the Doodle is an extra addition to the full suite of amenities, offering security, taste testing, and companionship. We really enjoyed staying at this property and we would recommend this home away from home to anyone! Thank you Sylvain!!!"

"Sitting in comfortable chairs, on a massive deck, overlooking a beautiful lake, covered in a low, slow moving mist and thin clouds. As the sun rise above the trees, directly i front of you, the entire world turns pink and red though the disappearing mist over the water. You are only sign of life except the song of the birds. And that's just the first hour. "

We were visiting Victoria to celebrate my sister’s graduation from UVic and it was great for working remotely, 5-15 min driving distance and bus available to downtown and UVic. It was great to have a parking spot. The place was very clean and was perfect for having dinner with family. "

"The home was absolutely beautiful, and the backyard was lovely with a screen gazebo and woods for a beautiful backdrop. We even saw deer during our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Our host was easy to contact and always responded quickly to our questions. This is a perfect spot for adults. It is a short drive to downtown Victoria, but plenty of shopping nearby without the craziness of the big city. Can't wait to visit again!"

"Beautiful property. On arrival as a gold member I would had preferred more signs indicating where we need to check in as I waited inline for 15mins to check in only to be told to go to another floor. Also the elevators were not clearly visible so we did get frustrated at getting list all the time. Other than that it was perfect "

Must stay here!

"This hotel was very updated and clean. The rooms were well appointed and the complimentary cookies and drinks were a welcoming touch. Central heating and air were amazing and the heated bathroom floors were very luxurious. While the location is further away from the wharf than others, this was a VERY good deal for the quality. The Palms restaurant downstairs was spendy but SO worth it. Very high quality service and the menu was amazing. They have two bars downstairs and the restaurant. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!"

"This is such lovely hotel and the staff is so friendly! You must go to the evening Scottish tea at the Pemberton, which adjoins the property! The included morning breakfast is very good too. It’s nice to have covered, secured parking also. Delightful!!"
