「This is a truly great spot for crane watching! The owners have a simple blind set up a short drive from the house right by the water. It was the perfect place to sit and listen to the cranes move from the water to the fields. When heading there, be sure to stay to the right of the buildings so you remain on the correct path to the blind.The house itself was perfect for a single traveler: very homey, clean, and comfortable. 「Hosts were very friendly.The cottage was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of essentials, etc....They left us some preserves, organic teas and even some fresh eggs from their chickens. The puppy was friendly, they also have barn cats which were shy. 「Check in was quick and easy. Cottage was cute and clean. Location was perfect for a quiet getaway! We used it as a mom’s weekend away. It was perfect for that! The listing said it sleeps 8, but I would say max of 6. This didn’t affect us, but might need adjusted. Information booklet provided needed updated as some things weren’t accurate. Larger bed didn’t have a mattress protector. 」
