“Working at the local hospital. I found the team to be very friendly and helpful on arrival. Lorraine actually let me check in early as the room was ready (11am) which was a big help after a long drive and could freshen up. Bed was super comfy, shower had good water pressure and complimentary waters very welcome in 33 degree heat. The key fob entry worked well too. No complaints. Will stay again.”

“Love, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!! Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.”

“Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked……

“Hidden away only a couple of miles from the lovely market town of Sturminster Newton, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Justin is a lovely host and we were incredibly well looked after. Super full English breakfast and Good amenities in the room. Highly recommended.”
