「Kate is an absolute gem of a host! She was more than accommodating of my needs due to allergies and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. She responds quickly to any questions. The cabin is located in a quiet area, very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is very close to Virginia City a very interesting historical city of the west. 「We enjoyed a nice two-night stay in Pony. Having never been to the area, it was fun to explore local trails and to meet others at the Pony bar. The accommodations are nice but there's no getting around it being more camping than glam - come prepared, especially for meals, as the options are limited nearby. 「We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Big Hole River Retreat. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The location, next to grazing horses and deer, was tranquil and relaxing. Access to the Big Hole was easy and close. A thunderstorm came up on our third day and we were treated to a DOUBLE RAINBOW-even mother nature contributed! We would come back in a heartbeat and hope to be able to make a return trip next year.」
