「I did not stay at this hotel. I paid for the hotel and even bought a travel insurance policy that stated that I will get a refund in case of any cancellation. Had a medical emergency and contacted Expedia two days before check in date to cancel but Expedia said they are having issues getting to the hotel to process my refund as the hotel policy is that the booking is a non refundable one even after I bought an insurance policy from Expedia.
