Nothing but a Disappointment

My two-night stay at Chronicle Residence and Spa was nothing but a disappointment. Not only was the hot water shower abnormal regularly, hotel staffs could not bring shower gel and towels on request. The Wi-Fi connection was poor if not disconnected entirely. Hotel staffs lacked the sufficient English skills to meet our demands and requests. Surprisingly, the hotel couldn't serve lunch because the chef wasn't in town. The hotel tuk tuk even forgot our pick-up time and left us waiting in the pouring rain for half an hour. Unacceptable!

滿分的住宿

酒店位置不起眼，不過從機場到酒店有免費專車接送，還有濕紙巾抹手很貼心。酒店裝潢很有渡假風情，一進門就有點心果汁招待，早餐選擇多，全部都很好吃。去angkor wat 看日出的那天更有早餐盒提供非常貼心。房間很大還有小露台望向游泳，超級舒服，只是有時候會有蚊子在房間出現，不過一開冷氣就不見。住了4晚都很滿意。

Big Room and Nice Stay

Very helpful and friendly staff, they came to airport to pick us up even it was quite late in the evening! The room was quite nice , big, and comfortable. The design was quite amazing.

Very good breakfast and good free tuk tuk service

The hotel breakfast was really nice. We often use the free tuk tuk service to travel to the city area eg. Pub Street, Lucky Mall and Old Market. The drivers were nice and on time. Also, the room is comfy. The only thing that could be improved was that there were a lot of ants crawling around on the table, sofa and cupboard. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and the shower was good.

很舒服的住宿，早餐提供豐盛，機場（或市區）來回免費接送，員工皆笑臉迎人！若是參與比較早的行程（六點），可與飯店櫃台領取早餐籃子（土司、可頌、水果），可帶在路上。機場接送可與飯店事先確認時間。

Helpful staff

The most memorable thing about this hotel is the helpful staff who would try their every best to make up for any inadequacies. Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet to allow convenience to tourist, they provide free tuk-tuk service to-and-from city centre, as well as pickup to-and-from airport with prior arrangement (although they might need some reminder after arrival for timely pickup from airport). Package included set breakfast with reasonable taste and choices, 30-minute free spa to either feet or back, and access to a small hotel pool. Hotel room is spacious, tidy, clean and equipped with necessary toiletries. On the whole, this would be a good choice to stay in Cambodia, especially with the hospitality of the staff.

只有遲到和忘記的酒店

房間整體還是不錯的。服務就很差。酒店早餐很一般。位置不好，附近沒有餐廳，一定要book酒店tuktuk到市中心。重點來了，book了車回酒店，第一天司機忘記了，等了半小時，打電話到酒店才有其他司機來接（繼續等半小時）。第二天提前半小時打電話叫酒店來接，結果不斷地說在路上（電話已打了5次），不斷地等，等了1.5小時，終於來了。回到酒店投訴，結果前台說我說錯了位置（我特地找當地人幫我打那個電話的）。他什麼都是對的。暹粒我訂了兩間酒店，這間真的是我住酒店以來最差的。他只是一家住宿的地方。我被它4.2分騙了。The worst hotel service in Siem Reap.

CP值整高，服務極好的酒店。

這間酒店服務很好，房格已包含機場來回接送。另酒店會提供免費Tuk-Tuk，接送我們到市區一帶。細心服侍。另外，朋友於入住其中一天生日，一早通知酒店，酒店旅送上核上名字的生日蛋糕。早餐是order即煮即做。以此價錢有此服務，簡直是超值。

A comfort place after all day temple walk

Not very big place but comfortable. The swimming pool is clean and the environment is nice. Highly recommend the SPA in the hotel. 40% off before 5pm and 20% off before 10pm. The massagists are very professional. It's a little far from downtown area, but The complimentary Tuk Tuk service is very helpful. Close to Angkor Wat.

Greeeeet！非常棒的酒店

15年底开的新宾馆，位于吴哥景区和国家博物馆之间的位置，设施先进，房间宽敞，泳池景观，环境优美，装修风格结合东南亚的神秘与现代主义的简约，阳台充满了绿色植物，正对游泳池，泳池可以免费使用，早餐好吃。比设施更让我满意的是宾馆的服务：机场免费接送，市中心任何地点免费接送（整个旅程我都没有自己叫过车），服务人员热情友好，景区回来还有人递上毛巾。服务员妹纸超级有爱，我自己带了个猫猫玩具去，妹纸们就给猫猫叠了小床小枕头铺在床上，看了心情大好！最后一天我中午退房，半夜的航班，宾馆还是让我们使用游泳池，还开了一个空房间给我们洗澡。服务真心好，我给小费给得叫心甘情愿，主动多给点。而且价格还不贵，以后有自由行的小伙伴可以考虑下，我都不想走啊！唯一有点不够理想的是周边小店、集市什么的比较少。Excellent service! Free airport,downtown pick-up. Don't want to leave.

Very new and clean hotel which location was not so perfect but there is tuktuk available outside of the hotel. It is 10-15 minutes to the city centre from the hotel.

Nice One failing in little things...

Really nice Hotel! But unfortunately we arrived at the airport but our shuttle, that was included, wasn't there!!!! So we had to take a taxi to the hotel! No apologies from nobody!!! The rooms are nice but on our balcony door was a curtain missing and you can't use the big mirror over the sinks unless you sit on the floor or bend right over the sinks! The room and bathroom are super nice and clean! We tried to eat dinner but is was very hard to find something for me that was available, as I can't have anything with oil! They have a western menu but almost nothing is available! English is very limited! It's a nice and quiet hotel though! But don't expect to much!!!

Amazing Potential

There is tons of potential!! After reading previous reviews we had high expectations. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Positives: free drink daily, friendly staff, beautiful grounds and nice room, transfer back to the airport. Needs improvement: cleanliness of the shower in our room and the grout of the pool. Airport pick up could improve. had to call the hotel to have them come and pick us up even after confirming the day before. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The general manager went above and beyond to teach my husband how to make pork belly the way he had. Thank you

Worst hotel ever

This is first review when ive stayed at hotel, we heard that there is silence and warm service, But ive been stayed lots of hotel, here is worst hotel ever. Heard that have free cocktail but i asked receptionist they said bar close 7pm, has tuktuk free service but driver go somewhere so cannot use, and water was rust water. Asked them change room but they said cannot. So i stayed 3day same rooms. I will not recommend this hotel

Clean and quiet new

The location is closer to Angkor wat area rather than the city. You need to ride a tuktuk each time. The hotel is much smaller than it looks. It is quite new and clean. Although the most of staff was helpful, the service and welcoming might be better.

I emailed the hotel 3 times after booking (both by personal emails and leaving message on their web page). However, they never replied to me. When I arrived the hotel in the morning with my own transportation, the lady at the reception counter gave an expression that I was not expected. She kept pulling a long face and I was ordered to take a seat. Though I got a welcome drink, I did not feel I was welcomed. Nevertheless, the man who later showed me my room was polite and friendly. At checkout, they mix up my massage bill with someone else. The hotel is beautiful, room is spacious and comfortable, breakfast and massage are both very good. There is large bath in guestroom but the water from the tap is a bit yellowish. The booklet in room has mentioned that tap water is not suitable to drink. The hotel is not close to tourist spot but they can arrange one way shuttle to downtown. The hotel probably is next to certain religious venue, when I was back to the hotel on a Saturday night, I heard strange music. However, once you closed your room door, you won't hear it again. The problem was the next morning at about 6am, I was waken up by loud prayer which was broadcasted via loudspeaker, it was so loud that I felt like in the middle of the gathering even with all the door tightly closed. It continued for some half an hour and definitely no possible to sleep. As I only stay for one night, I am sure whether it is only an issue for Sunday morning.

Great hotel, nice staff

Great hotel, new and great condition! We had several meals in the restaurant and it was great. Breakfast was a bit slow but good. We will definitely want to come back!
