Giacomo, co-owner of the property, was so kind to give us some basic education and guidance for Siena which helped us navigate and understand the city better. Parking was plentiful and the open view from the property was beautiful. I was fortunate enough to meet a Swedish lady who told me that this was her third stay at the property. Breakfast was wonderful and very local European-style rather than American. You can enjoy indoors or outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary trip through Siena. Thank you 🙏

Everything was lovely here except the bed! A really hard and squeaky spring mattress in our room made for rather stiff sleeping.

Lorenzo and Giacomo were the perfect hosts! We arrived on foot from the Siena train station at their beautiful oasis just outside the city walls, and were grateful to spend 4 nights in September 2026. Many people who stay here seem to have cars as they offer great parking just outside of Siena which has traffic limited zones. Palazzo di Valli was our home base to explore Tuscany. Highlights included visiting San Gimignano, hiking sections of the Via Francigena, and learning about Italian wines during a tour and lunch at La Lastra organic vineyard. Enjoyed quiet accommodations in a historic property each night with a plentiful breakfast and good coffee each morning. We hope to return.

We had a blast, and the proprietors were fantastic. They had plenty of local knowledge and seemed to have a real passion for what they do. Plus the venue is wonderful, and they have the best patio with views of the Tuscan hills. Would recommend, and would stay again.

Our stay was fantastic at Palazzo Di Valli! The room was beautiful with a gorgeous view and the breakfast buffet was fantastic, which you could enjoy on the terrace of the property. It was very accessible to Siena (about a 10 minute walk), and Giacomo and Lorenzo were incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. They provided great restaurant recommendations, and even when we could not get a taxi to the train station which is about a 15 minute drive away, Lorenzo drove us himself so we could catch our train. This was a phenomenal stay and we highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Giacomo and Lorenzo were wonderful hosts. The restaurant suggestions were perfect. Breakfast each day was delicious with so many options. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the countryside…just stunning. The view from our window was equally spectacular. Easy to get into the city. Bed was comfortable and room was well appointed. Highly recommend and if I am lucky enough to return to this magical region, we will stay here again.

Recomendo fortemente estavestadia!
