“We had a really great experience at the Kimpton Los Monteros, Marbella for 11 days at the end of June and into July 2026. This was our second stay, having spent a few days at the Kimpton in December 2025. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody considering spending some time in or near Marbella, particularly great was the rooftop bar and the social hour, where you were able to have free drinks, to include wine beer and cava. The staff by the poolside and in the restaurant, the hotel……

“The hotel is in a beautiful location, and we really enjoyed the ambiance, especially the pool area, which is very relaxing. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. However, we experienced a strong smell coming from the bathroom in our room. Housekeeping could also be improved, as the room was not cleaned thoroughly, and room service was quite slow to deliver the items we requested. We paid a significant amount for two rooms, so we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately,……

“This hotel probably gets 4 stars due to having the spa (extra €57 per room) and other amenities. But it's a country hotel in a fantastic location with outstanding views of the lake. A reasonably priced restaurant (best to book) serves good food and the breakfast buffet provides an excellent selection but is very Spanish which works for us. i would stay here again.”
