3 very nice days in Silkeborg

Extremely specious suite with amble room for the family on our three days stay. Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings next to the picturesque Silkeborg Lake. Very nice breakfast served every morning. EV charging at a fair price. Pool not so large but clean and refreshing. Only thing not so great: We couldnt resrrve a table in the restaurant for our first evening. I guess the restaurant was understaffed due to vacation. Would stay at Scandic Silkeborg again

Nice hotel that we stayed on for the 4th time. But the room at the bottom floor was very varm and damp. Hardly any ventilation. The towels did not dry for a whole day. As almost every hotel room there is water all over the bathroom after you shower. Nice pool.

Silkeborg is a jewel, beautiful for walking and makes a lovely destination. A business hotel mainly, paint peeling and damaged ceiling in the bedroom. No extras such as complimentary water on arrival or in reception, no bathroom extras. No lounge area other than reception. No satilite TV. More could be provided for tourists. A good swimming pool.

Da vi ankom ca.15,15 med indtjening kl.16,00 fik vi at vide vores værelse ikke var klar. Hvad der er helt ok. Men hvis vi betalte kr. 200,00 kunne vi få det med samme. Det føles da som noget vrøvl ikke sandt??

Fint sted som helhed. Beliggenheden er en længere gåtur fra byen så det er klart nemmest på cykel eller i bil. Vores værelse og flere andre havde en meget dårlig placering med folk der spillede fodbold uden for vinduerne. Poolen var for det mest ren og fin men der var flere der ikke gik i bad inden de hoppede i vandet, mest pga. en dør direkte ind uden om badet (lidt ulækkert) men det er jo mest gæsternes skyld. Restauranten havde god mad men de havde udfordringer så man ventede længe. Når alt dette er sagt var det som helhed rimelig hyggeligt og personalet var altid smilende, nærværende og behagelige, selv når de var presset.

Det var meget varmt da vi var der og vi manglede noget aircondition. Sengene er meget bløde og stedet er noget nedslidt. Men pænt og rent og personalet meget hjælpsomt.
