“We had a great stay at Dan's cabin! It's a real log cabin and much larger and nicer than even the pictures suggest. We enjoyed the peacefulness of our stay in the woods. It was a lovely drive back into the property, and the water front didn't disappoint! My son and I found a baby painted turtle and a frog. He fished and caught a sunfish. We swam and explored. While in the area we also took a drive to Killington to do some of the summer outdoor activities. Great stay!!The only thing I would……

“The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.”

“Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. ”

“Our stay was very nice. Place was clean and organized. We are a family of 4, Three adults and a teen. The sofa/futon is a pull out double bed. It was ok. If left open to bed, not much room during the day with kitchen so close. The drive to the lake was short and very nice. Lots of places to eat in the area. Great shops in area. All in all, a very nice place to stay. ”

“We had an awesome week of great weather. There was more than enough room for our family of 13 adults and 2 babies and every house was fully equipped in the kitchens. The lake is so clean and beautiful and the set up of the docks is perfect. The sunsets were amazing. Deb was so helpful and very quick to respond to us when we needed something. “We absolutely loved our stay in the cabins! They were warm and cozy, making for an amazing experience. Being by the river was incredible - falling asleep to the sound of the water was pure bliss. We also had a blast swimming in the lake with the baby. The cabin itself was spotless and very welcoming. Overall, we'd give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to come back!”
