「Our one night stay was great! This townhouse had everything we needed to accommodate our family of all ages. We were very glad that there were sound machines in each room because it is located in a busy area and there was quite a bit of road noise and sirens happening throughout the night. Our only downside was finding parking. This was not the fault of the property owner but be prepared to walk a ways if it’s busy and the spots in front are taken.」

「Oak & Barrel was a great place to stay for a weekend on the Bourbon Trail. Close to downtown and well located for heading south to bourbon country. Rebecca was very responsive and the house was neat & tidy and well stocked. 」

「This property was very clean and was just what we needed. There is a full kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, sink). The owner thought to provide extra blankets and pillows in case they were needed. It was close to so many restaurants and excellent nightlife! We were able to walk to so many different places. The street parking was easy to find.」

「House was clean, no major issues. Bed frames were squeaky anytime you moved or rolled over. Doors were also squeaky and needed some lubrication. Doorknobs were loose and needed tightened. Water line wasn't hooked up to fridge and ice trays were not provided, so we had to buy ice. Light bulbs were out in several rooms but ceiling was so high we couldn't change them out even if we wanted to. Would have been nice to have curtains on the windows in addition to the blinds as the sun was very bright...

「I had a business trip that required me to go between New Albany & Louisville all week…and my dogs needed to travel w me for the week. The house was perfectly situated between both areas with an easy commute to everywhere. I had plenty of places to walk my dogs & at night the area was quiet. Besides that, the house just has a cool, rustic vibe including everything that you need.」
