Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im 1. Stock einer kleinen Einkaufspassage. Die Straßen und Gassen mit Geschäften und Trubel sind hier weitestgehend zu Ende, die Therme befindet sich unmittelbar nebenan und es beginnt ein weitläufiges Parkgelände mit Zugang zu Aussichtspunkten, Olivenhainen und öffentlichem Strand. Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und ist hochwertig. Sie ist geringfügig anders als auf den Bildern, aber im Wesentlichen entsprechend. Sirmione ist ein sehr beliebter Ort am Gardasee, man muss in der Hauptsaison mit vielen Menschen rechnen. In der Wohnung und auf der Terrasse hört man davon aber nichts. Über der Wohnung und nebenan befinden sich noch weitere Appartements, von deren Balkonen volle Aussicht auf die Terrasse ist. Auch die Geräusche von oben sind "gut" zu hören. In der Hauptsaison könnte sich der Charme der großen Terrasse dadurch vielleicht mindern. Wir waren im April da und die meiste Zeit allein im Haus. Das war sehr angenehm. In der Galerie darunter befindet sich das Restaurant des Hausbesitzers. Hier kann man sehr schön am See sitzen und sehr gut essen. Das Team von Emma Villas ist außerordentlich bemüht, den Urlaub angenehm verlaufen zu lassen. Die Kommunikation wird in Englisch geführt und auch zwischendurch wird nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Noch eins muss man wissen: Die historische Altstadt von Sirmione ist verkehrsberuhigte Zone. Das Auto wird vor den Stadtmauern auf einem zentralen Parkplatz abgestellt. Das Parken muss zusätzlich bezahlt werden, ebenso die Tourismussteuer. Der Transfer beim Check-in und Check-out sowie der Gepäcktransport erfolgt über kleine, elektrische Mobile. Dies ist kostenlos und schon mal das erste kleine Urlaubserlebnis mit Funcharakter. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können das Quartier daher vollstens empfehlen.
