“My wife and I were very happy with the accommodations. They were clean, dog friendly and conveniently located. There are 3 different options for dinner within a two minute walk. The owner kept in touch but was never intrusive. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“We enjoyed our vacation at Peace in the Pines! Every evening when we returned home, we had 2 deer waiting for us near the driveway. We often also saw turkeys and other wildlife. This location is within a 15 minute drive to most of the cities, which makes it a great location to stay in Door County. After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to quiet! The host is quick with responses to questions! Highly recommend Peace in the Pines!”

“Nice big kitchen with everything you need for a few days or a month! Very clean and a good layout for families. Stairs are a bit on the steep side if you have very small children or people with mobility issues, but there is a very comfortable master br on the main level. This house is right on 42 which is very convenient, but you will hear some noise from the traffic. Overall a nice spacious house in a great location! ”

“Beautiful location and home. The kids (and parents) found plenty of room to play games, find quiet space, and eat together. Slept so well and enjoyed one of our favorite things about the Island - the rocky beaches!! This home is spectacular and takes me back to special memories of visits to the island over the past 4 decades. Fires and sunsets on the beach and only a 'stones throw' from Schoolhouse Beach. Perfect for this family of 5. We are so grateful for Bill, he was a great communicator and……
