Was instantly made welcome and found the facilities in top condition.
Rooms were clean, comfortable, and breakfast lovely.
Location is superb with good local amenities yet still a quiet neighbourhood.
Happily recommend for anyone visiting Skegness and hope to return in the future.
Hosts were lovely, very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. We stayed in room 1 which was a family room, great for us as we travelled with our 1 year old so there was plenty of room. The room was very clean and tidy. We also had breakfast both mornings which was cooked perfectly, they even remembered our order which was also a nice touch! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome, highly recommend!
Great stay at the aldor guest house .there is no negative points ,clean throughout, beautiful bedroom all modern decor ,breakfast was very tasty and hot .caroline and darren brilliant hosts ,what more can i say .
The family room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Even with 6 beds there was still plenty of room. The shower was lovely and the beds were comfy with nice fresh linen. Darren & Caroline were friendly
Spotlessly clean bed and breakfast . We had a lovely stay hosts very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Rooms done to a high standard and shower hot and powerful. Close to shops and beach would highly recommend this hotel , thanks for a great couple of days we will definitely return.
We love Aldor and will definitely be back. Breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the owners were very accommodating and helpful. It couldn't be a better location - we stayed opposite in a different bnb for our first night in Skegness and it was hideous – Aldor was a breath of fresh air!
Only slight problems are parking can be a little awkward with restrictions, and as a suggestion - I did wonder if there should be a microwave in the family rooms (to heat baby formula) to minimise contact during times of covid (not relevant for us, but I've seen it in a lot of guest houses and might be handy for guests).
The guest house from the entrance to the room itself was in immaculate condition. Clean, fresh, all amenities and brilliant staff. Breakfast was great and host very attentive.
We have just returned from a two night stay with my wife and two boys aged 5 & 6, the room was perfect, accommodating all of us comfortably. Excellent location, extremely friendly hosts. Exceptionally clean accommodation.
Likeable staff, clean hotel rooms, nice and close to the main attractions of skegness. Only thing to really complain about is loud neighbors but that is not down to the staff.
I booked The Aldor as I have stayed here a few times before. When I arrived I was told that new owners had taken it over in January, I was a little concerned but very quickly realised I didnt need to be as it was still every bit as good as before.
I was shown to my room, offered a fresh pot of tea or coffee, told about breakfast times etc.
I had a double room - two twin beds, so ended up a big double.
Very comfortable, quiet and a good nights sleep.
The rooms were clean and tidy and well equipped, as were the communal areas. Owners seemed happy to help with anything you wanted. Breakfast was hot and nice quality. There was parking outside on a very long road so no problem finding a spot.
Only thing I would say is that the curtains need to be dark or blackout - by about 05:45 I was awake and it was as bright in the room as daytime and I found it hard to get back to sleep.
Would recommend this Guest House - the New Owners have definitely maintained the high standard that I remember from previous years.
We had a great time, room was lovely and new and clean. Breakfast was delicious and Darren and Caroline were both great hosts, allowed us to check in early as the room was available and were very kind. Would happily stay here again.
One night stay at The Aldor Guest House with the missus and the 1 year old. Great reception and a pot of tea brought to our room on arrival and help with bags.
Very quiet, cozy, comfy, clean and homely.
It was family friendly, our 1 year old daughter did cry a bit been a unfamiliar place and setting for bedtime however no comments from owners or guests.
Breakfast was nice, full English and a high chair was provided for the young one.
The owners “Caroline and Darren” are really lovely people, I’m sure we will return in the future :-D
