I have read many reviews about this location before booking here. There was one in particular that mentioned when you come in the front door ...oh my gosh, after driving for 15 hours, that view made it all worth it. You can see the ocean waves crashing through the back glass windows as you walk in the front door. Spectacular views. The back balcony you could practically live on. The beach sadly isn't right off the back balcony for you to walk on to. There is that side gate one house down to the South that gives you a path down to the beach. But it is a hike. Carrying things can be a bit of a chore, but it is all worth it. The beach is marvelous, other than the absolutely freezing water temperature. I think it was 57 while we were here in the water. We were lucky enough to be here at the beginning of June and the weather was phenomenal, low 70s all week. We visited the Jedidiah Smith redwood forest. We drove up the coast of Oregon to see some nice views and did some small hikes. We also swam in the Smith River. But that deck on the back of the house and that beach was the real reason I came. As for the house, it was everything we needed. Did have the three bedrooms, each sleeping two people. There was a game room that had a pull out futon type bed, but really only slept one person. So the house in a way only properly sleeps seven. We brought a blow up to bed to accommodate a couple more people with the hosts permission. Host was fantastic as well
