"It was the perfect stay for my wife and me during our 5 day stay. Food was amazing, our room was really nice and vibrant in a good way. The location made it really easy to explore Hamilton and be close to bus routes to spend the day at the beautiful beaches."

"Property sits up in hills with lots of hills and steps. This property is not for handicapped people or if you have trouble climbing hills and lots of steps. Rooms are very outdated. Needs renovation. Breakfast was great. Dinner was good. Staff was excellent in helping you for whatever you need. You need to take a taxi or public bus to get to wherever you need to go. Property is at the west end of the island about 45 minutes from airport. Closer to Royal Dockyard."

"It's rare to stay in a resort where the owner genuinely cares about the guests, visiting tables at dinner, the bar late in the afternoon, and even a manager's cocktail hour. When you check in there's a nice touch - "Welcome Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Toronto, Canada - Happy Anniversary" - or "welcome back". No wonder many of these names had double digit number of visits beside their names. We love the Reefs. Thank you!"

2 Units Combined - Include private dock and Lovely Water Views

"Communication with our host was super easy- a WhatsApp was set up with the owner, myself and maintenance staff so all questions were answered promptly.The combined 2 units were perfect for my large family's stay. Having the dock was a huge plus for the younger folks to swim and paddle board/kayak from. Plenty of life jackets, goggles and even some swim shoes.The views were spectacular and having the windows open to the ocean breeze was awesome. The aquarium and a supermarket were within walking distance but there are few sidewalks and the cars drive fast and crazily!An extensive binder of information was in the unit and very helpful about everything and anything that you might need plus maps and activity suggestions.Some of the family arrived early and the owner was very accommodating with an early check in. Our departing flights were also a little later than check out and we were able to stay longer too.I would highly recommend this property."

"The property is very far away from a lot of main attractions. The front desk staff was not helpful at all and there was no running water for two entire days and the only option was offered was to take a shower by the pool. I also put the do not disturb sign on my door, but housekeeping and the water boy continued to knock multiple times and open my door despite the sign. The water boy even opened my door attempting to get in saying I am dropping the water, thank God I had the lock and chain on the door and I asked him why he is opening my door when the do not disturb sign is on and the chain is on the door and he didn’t respond, when I asked the front desk why this is happening they said they don’t know and they did not no when the running water would come back on and the attitude of the older blonde whit woman with the limp was horrible as if she was overworked, underpaid and bothered. I even requested taxi service twice and a taxi came an hour late made me almost missed my excursion and the other days he didn’t come at all. Stay in Hamilton or somewhere closer to the main attractions, because this is not it."

"I cannot say enough about the exceptional level of service provided by the staff at the Rosewood. From the first moment we arrived we were greeted by the most warm, helpful and accommodating staff. This service extended from the bell stand to housekeeping and to the many waitstaff members we encountered each day. Staff members greeted us with kindness and took time to ask us about our trip and chat beyond the normal pleasantries. They could not have been more professional and their pride in Bermuda and the Rosewood experience shown through."

Grotto Bay Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Grotto Bay is a very nice hotel and it is close to the airport. The food was really good. The staff were all very nice. It has a nice area on the side for snorkeling with loads of small fish. The hotel could use a little updating, the bathrooms are small, the floor in the room is kind of dirty, but it’s a beach hotel, so it’s not that bad. They could use some variation of the menu at the outside bar. It’s the only option you have for lunch there, so so e specials of the day would be nice. The Swizzle Inn is a 3 minute walk, so that’s convenient. We have stayed there a few times about 10 years ago, and it is exactly the same as it was then. I would stay there again, but it’s not a luxury hotel. Very nice, but just being honest."
