「Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.」

「It was amazing. In the kitchen is everything you need. And the details. Great. Important things were in red. Very nice. The double bed was quite nice. The bathroom was very clean like the kitchen and other rooms as well! We could reach everything in a short walk. So no car needed most of the time. Next time again!」

Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. 」

「We had a wonderful stay. We had a lovely warm welcome from the fabulous Gloria (& Carrie) Gloria showed us around the farm to meet all the animals. The annex was amazing with lots of little luxuries including a fridge full of food, bread, milk & juice to make a fried breakfast. I had a very restful sleep and we can’t wait to return again!」
